A black brother claimed he ate a rat that was ground up in his spaghetti sauce.

Reddi's is one of the BEST places around Garfield to get pizza. I have been getting it for 18 years and NEVER once had a problem. The staff is very nice and the prices are great! In fact we are getting food from there tonight!

If you're new here, Val, welcome. We're looking for more good posters to come here. As for the comments from Unifried and Garfieldite, we have a village idiot that posts a bunch of idiotic comments here. He uses many different names and even uses our names to post crap. So, whenever you read a post in this forum and it sounds like it was written by a young child or someone with mental problems, just ignore it. I been to Reddi's too and their pizzas are great. The only rat here is the one poster that leaves the idiotic rants.

I guess this dope has no idea what "slander" means and how one can be liable for damages. Hey! That's an idea. Val, when you go to Reddi's, give them the URL to this post. They may want to pursue legal action against this poster for slander.

Reddi's and Teresa's pizza are both nice places to get some pizza. The troll just gave me an idea of what to eat while watching the cavs beat the magic.

Teresa's pizza! There's some old memories. I worked at a store when I was a kid and the owner of Teresa's in Garfield would shop there. Every time he'd come to the store, he'd bring us a large pizza with the works on it, except the anchovies. Boy!, I'll tell you, that pizza was DE-licious! Thanks a lot fellas! Now I TOO have a taste for a pizza! But it's starting to get dark out and I don't want to get caught between a pizza store robbery so, I'll maybe wait for the sun to come back up. lol!

Hey guys! Keep up the posts. I live in Garfield, and don't have to deal with half the crap you guys do... but it does make me feel a little better when my trashy neighbors decide to hold their yearly street fight, and I realize that I only have to deal with this on rare occasion -- compared to your daily miseries. I'll go back to lurking now. But seriously, keep up the posts! I'll pray for you! Who knows... Maple might make a comeback before Garfield? Oh, and I will have to try Reddi's now! Thanks for the recommendation!

btw... tried Teresa's once, and it wasn't as good as expected... but I'll give them another chance. Musarra's Tasty Pizza was way better, but I don't think they're around anymore.

Tasty's closed some time ago. The pizza was good, but the sauce was always watered down. I like to go to Tommy's. They have this pizza called a "Tommy's Junior," or TJ for short. It's a little six inch pizza cut in four slices. Perfect for one person, and you can put all kinds of toppings on it for cheap.

Wait a minute! I might have the pizza houses mixed up. It's been a few years since the guy would bring us a pizza to the store. The owner who used to do that was named Tony. Maybe that was Musarra's.

Tony is from Musarra's Redy's pizza. Actually, he is the son of the original owner.

Yep. If the original Tony was still alive today, he'd be around 100 years old. By the time we'd be able to get to that pizza after Tony would bring it, it would be just a tad cold but man-o-man! I can still remember tasting it. Onions, peperoni, sweet green peppers, extra cheese and sauce.

While we have these fine restaurants in our area, the two I miss the most are Oriental Terrace and Elda's pizza on Turney Road in Garfield Heights.

The guy who owned Oriental Terrace sent his kids to college, so when it came time to retire, he didn't have anybody to hand the business down to, and he couldn't sell it because of the changes in the area.

The owners of Elda's sold their store, but the guy who bought it started to cut corners ruining the food and opened up when he felt like it, so that place was destroyed and had to close.

I don't see how businesses survive with these kids anyway. When I was in high school we always got the 'hook up' from people who worked somewhere. People would order a big mac and walk out with 2 bags full of food. I remember at 16 stock boys leaving us a case of beer by the back door. That little Italian guy was selling half the store in his spare time. LOL No wonder why he rode to school in a Camaro.

what a joke, I go there all the time and it is always nice. The guy just thinks he might get some easy money,
or free pizza for life

The one that leaves those idiotic posts here is our very own 'Village Idiot', maple79. He doesn't know and better because if he did, he'd know what he posts is called slander and he could be sued over it.

Reddi's rocks! I've have driven back to Maple just for the pizza many, many times. I have frozen them before because I can't get there often enough. No body makes pizza as good as Reddi's. The crust, sauce, cheese, sausage and veggies are the best I have had. I took them for granted when I moved away. Pizza was pizza until I moved and found out that no other pizza measures up. Has anybody ever gone to another location of Reddi's? I wonder if they are all use the same recipe and ingredients. I only go back for the pizza and sometimes it scares and depresses me when I go back. Neighborhood has gone to he11.

Welcome Missing:

Reddy's is a family run business. I can't see why their other stores would be different. I don't know where you moved to, but I believe there is a Reddy's on Snow Road right by I 71. If that's closer for you, it might be something you want to check out.
