horrible horrible horrible -
having been here a couple times since they opened, they never cease to disappoint me
today, however, left me speechless.
with only 1 waitress working the entire diner - it took too long to place an order, too long to get it, and the food was cold when it finally made it to the table (even the burnt toast).
when i asked for a manager, i was told he was not it (probably getting the wheat bread they ran out of)
after waiting even longer for the check - i noticed 2 men standing behind the corner. i asked is one was the manager or owner - one of them said he was the dishwasher but knew the owner very well and could get him a message. i said that would have to do because i didn't plan on coming back.
i was floored when he said "there's the door" told me i was rude and that he wasn't kissing anyones butt, and that it was a free country.
shame on you angelo - for being so rude and not having the balls to admit you were the manager but having the balls to say what you said.
i don't expect your business to last long.

They said "There's the door!!" LMAO That's classic.
Never even heard about this diner, the Broadway diner is good though.

Angelos has decent food but service can be poor very erratic sometimes they are out of a lot of stuff. But some of the specials are very tasty

I don't eat out much, but my mother went there and told me it was terrible. If it's one thing I learned in life, it's that you don't argue with people preparing your food unless you are done eating and know you won't be back.
Some years back, I went to visit my cousin in Brunswick. They ordered a pizza from Domino's. When the pizza got there, it had an item on it they didn't order. My cousin and his wife are both nice people, but are hysterical and high strung.
You thought somebody sent them a shoebox full of dog crap. He was screaming at her to get on the phone, she was excited and yelling back. She got on the phone to Domino's and started screaming bloody murder to the poor guy on the phone. She screamed that she wanted what they ordered, and that she wanted a refund besides since the guy delivered it in 35 minutes instead of their promised 30 minutes or less.
When the guy delivered the pizza again, she vented at him as well. When they offered me a piece, I pictured the order taker picking his nose and spitting on the pizza. Even though I was hungry, I looked back and said "no thanks, I ate before I came here." LOL!

Never mess with people that make your food. I was out one time and this chick actually complained and sent her food back to the kitchen. Thankfully my food was delivered at the same time.
I worked in a restaurant before, I know what goes on back there when you send things back.

LOL! I never worked at a restaurant before (although I delivered pizza for a year) but was told my other people what they do with the food of azzhole customers. No thank you. I'll just take what I get and put up with it, or not eat it.
