This is just another money scheme. We have the highest tax around, and we are a retirement community and low income area. We can't afford this sneaky way of stealing our dwindling income.

Agreed. And I think all citizens should not only protest, but promise those representatives who voted for these cameras they will boot them out of office.
They talked about doing that here in Maple Heights, but quickly aborted the idea. But had they gone through with it, I would have told Council I would do whatever I could to get them thrown out.
That's the problem with politics, nobody pays attention or gets involved. But for anybody concerned about cameras, you fight fire with fire. Here is a link to a company that produces a chemical that you spray on your license plates so that the camera can't take a photo of them. I know that if Garfield wins this case, I will be purchasing some of this stuff:
I remember when they first started this crap it was for our safety and not revenue, finally people are wising up and realizing they are just trying to steal more of our money to waste instead of budgeting what they have.
We already pay too much in taxes for not enough in return.
