Driver gets probation in death of family

I'm sorry for the loss of the Calevro family! I think it is VERY wrong that Dawn only got probabtion. She did the same thing in 2002 causing a three car collision and used the same excuse then. If she couldn't afford medical insurance and decided to self medicate then she should not have been behind the wheel of a car especially after it already happened in 2002. Also, I have seen Dawn at local casinos and I'm sorry but if you have money to gamble then she had money to go to the doctors. She should be in jail because it will happen again!!!!!!!!!! How many more people does she have to kill before the courts wake up?

I have a hard time with the comments about selling a few pills of extascy. As Jan 17th of this year my sons friend, who had just turned 18 in Oct . Took just a few pills of extascy along with a couple swigs of jack daniels. And on the 21st of January his parents had to make the decision to take him off of life support!!! People make mistakes!!! This woman should pay a higher price for her mistake , I agree!! But just selling some extascy might not seem so harmful until your little brother or sister get hooked on it or even worse ,die from it and they dont get a second chance to make it right .Like Zak.

5 years probation for taking 4 lives! There isn't even jail time! Is this justice? Whether the victims were represented or not in court, punishment must fit the crime.$11K for funeral expenses? Is this a joke? What about monetary compensation for the victims not being able to live out their futures, being a grandpa or grandma, getting married, having children!!! Did not their lives mean anything? They were people for heaven's sake!
