"East Fork Justice Tom Perkins urged Harris to treat family members with respect after the mother indicated she wanted contact with him..."

Seems to me like the mother is the one that needs to treat family members with respect.

Absolutely correct! Something is ass-backwards with the law enforcement folks there. I'm not too sure if a church wedding is really a public event. But I would hope that at-least anybody who did not sit quietly would be subject to a swift ejection as the trespasser they were. The MOTHER is the one who should-have been hauled away.

Ass-backwards is about right. I've spent a good bit of time in some of the less-populated areas of Nevada. Let's just say that a lot of the family trees out there resemble stumps.

She should have minded her own business. The cops were apparently too stupid to arrest *HER* for disorderly conduct. And he should consider a restraining order against his mother. Just because you choose to pop out a baby doesn't mean you own the resulting person.

I worry for the bride to be. Imagine all the future scenarios the mother-in-law will inflict upon them.

Remember the movie: Throw Mama From the Train?
Maybe someone should send him a copy....
He needs counseling in boundary setting, and should move to another part of the country, change his name, and leave no forwarding address...
she's a meddling, maniacal, monster, who gave birth, but lacks true parenting and mothering skills.
She needs another hobby. He needs a place of peace.
Throw the bitch in jail, and give her a stack of baskets to weave.
Give him two tickets to Hawaii....she'd have to swim through shark infested waters to get to him...LOL!

Was she even invited, or did she just show up. They should have told mom she could come if she kept her mouth shut!
