Despite the disastrous rollout of the federal government's healthcare website, enrollment is surging in many states as tens of thousands of consumers sign up for insurance plans made available by President Obama's health law.
A number of states that use their own systems, including California, are on track to hit enrollment targets for 2014 because of a sharp increase in November, according to state officials.
"What we are seeing is incredible momentum," said Peter Lee, director of Covered California, the nation's largest state insurance marketplace, which accounted for a third of all enrollments nationally in October. California — which enrolled about 31,000 people in health plans last month — nearly doubled that in the first two weeks of this month.
Several other states, including Connecticut and Kentucky, are outpacing their enrollment estimates, even as states that depend on the federal website lag far behind. In Minnesota, enrollment in the second half of October ran at triple the rate of the first half, officials said. Washington state is also on track to easily exceed its October enrollment figure, officials said.

9% difference between two DIFFERENT groups? That's what you're crowing about?
That poll was from September, before the October Obamacare roll out debacle and before millions of people received insurance cancellations.
Whatever it's called, the health care law that Obama and the Democrats have shoved down the throats of Americans is an erupting disaster.

Recent? That article is a year and a half old. What a pathetic tool you are.
Since that article was written, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al., have exposed themselves as shameless liars who have sold their supporters down the river.
Americans are working two part time jobs, getting their insurance canceled, losing their doctors and paying thousands more a year thanks to the 100% Democratically owned Obamacare legislation.
But you're implying that Democrats will be seeking reelection as Obamacare advocates?
Watch the Democratic rats jump the lame duck Obama/Obamacare ship during reelection to distance themselves from that lying, incompetent fool.

In theory that's sounds logical but since Tommy Boy rammed down a 2.3 BILLION dollar transportation bill including gas taxes with vehicle & driver fees(which are a tax) that is not a logical choice. Third party candidate would get my vote no matter what. I will not vote for a faux Republican or con servative like Corbett. Nor would I vote for Republican parrots, drones or sheep who sounded like they were giving a prepared speech rationalizing their support for a 2.3 BILLION DOLLAR bill.

Corbett is the wrong man for the people of Pennsylvania, he is great for the oil and natural gas industry. Just think about the transportation bill he is about to sign which means 25 to 38 cents more tax on a gallon of gas. The natural gas companies are getting away scot free because they have the Governor in their pocket.

The Democrat SCUM-lord (Socialist Communist Utopian Marxist - loves oppressive (ruthless dictatorships)
Obama is doing what he promised to do...
He is transforming America from a morally Christian based democracy based on Christian virtues and underpinnings, into a debased, class envying, race bating, workers paradise founded on the SCUM religion and ideology.
The SCUM religion and ideology does not motivate people to be virtuous, it motivates them to debauchery and licentiousness.
You are further proof of this filth and foulness that is Obama and the SCUM religion and ideology.
the stench is overwhelming

The state House on Thursday gave the last surge of gas needed to propel a major multi-faceted transportation funding plan to Gov. Tom Corbett's desk by approving the measure 113-85.
Corbett is expected to sign the bill that represents the first major increase in transportation funding since the state's gas tax was raised by 3.5 cents a gallon 17 years ago.
The plan's support in the House came from 65 Republicans and 48 Democrats
By the years end of 2014 Pa will have the highest gasoline tax in the country.

Here is my list off the top of my head of topics that started with a scream and threats and gloom and doom, but turned into a whimper: Birthers, taking bullets away, taking guns away, destroying economy, destroying Medicare, IRS "scandal", Benghazi, Libya, terrorists are getting stronger, wants to kill grandma, Syria, Socialism, Communism, destroying fossil fuel industry, billion dollar trips to foreign countries, outrageous tax hikes, alternative energy not working, bail out GM won't work, weak on foreign policy, Romney and Ryan saviors of the world. Help me out, I'm sure there are many more. Don't you GOP sheep feel stupid by now?

John Boehner Has Officially Signed Up For Insurance Through Obamacare.
House Speaker John Boehner has officially enrolled in a D.C. insurance exchange under the Affordable Care Act, he said in a blog post on his website Thursday evening, after having some difficulty signing up earlier in the afternoon.
"Like many Americans, my experience was pretty frustrating," he wrote of his experience at first, a reference to the dysfunction that has plagued the exchange websites since their launch.
"After putting in my personal information, I received an error message. I was able to work past that, but when I went to actually sign up for coverage, I got this 'internal server error' screen."
In his original blog post, he wrote that he had put a call into the help desk. A short while later, he added an update:
"Kept at it, and called the DC Health Link help line. They called back a few hours later, and after re-starting the process on the website two more times, I just heard from DC Health Link that I have been successfully enrolled."
Brendan Buck, Boehner's press secretary, joked that "sure didn't take long after the blog post."
The federal health care law requires members to enroll in D.C. exchanges.

Leading Republican John Boehner Successfully Signs up for Obamacare
After trying to repeal it 40-odd times
"Earlier this afternoon, I sat down to try and enroll in the DC exchange under the president's health care law," John Boehner wrote today on his official Speaker.gov web page.
At first it seemed impossible. "Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get past that point and sign up for a health plan. We've got a call into the help desk. Guess I'll just have to keep trying..."
But by 5:35pm, Boehner had successfully enrolled in Obamacare:
Updated (5:35 pm ET:) Kept at it, and called the DC Health Link help line. They called back a few hours later, and after re-starting the process on the website two more times, I just heard from DC Health Link that I have been successfully enrolled.Boehner initially found his experience "pretty frustrating," but that was before he was called back by someone at the Health Link line. He did in fact get successfully enrolled with perhaps a couple hours of effort. That level of commitment probably isn't a deal-breaker for Americans who lack health insurance. They may well become fans of Obamacare if all it takes to become insured is an afternoon's persistence.

‘November surge’ seen in Obamacare sign-ups in states
After anemic enrollment in the new health insurance marketplaces in October, states have begun to see a much faster pace of sign-ups in November, prompting health policy researchers to announce a “November surge.”
Several other states, including Connecticut and Kentucky, are outpacing their enrollment estimates, even as states that depend on the federal website lag far behind. In Minnesota, enrollment in the second half of October ran at triple the rate of the first half, officials said. Washington state is also on track to easily exceed its October enrollment figure, officials said.[Los Angeles Times]

Fox News is not news reporting. It is selective reporting of occurances that advance their Murdoch direct cause. 24 hrs a day of Obama bashing, derision of anyone who disagrees, an accusatory Hannity shouting about all that he feels is wrong. Even O'Reilly won't let anyone during his phony attempts at being fair and balanced interviews. He has a tomato can like Colmes that he can poke fun of while Hannity creams over Palin. It is entertainment for white middle aged America that's all. High ratings are no surprise when they play to their audience, doesn't give them a monopoly on truth.
Of course Fox manufactures their news just like a scripted reality show. They have done a great job in fooling the uneducated masses - give them what they want to hear.
If you really want to be informed, turn off Fox News, and read. The Times, WSJ, The Guardian, NY Times, watch world news from Asia and the Europe, and more. NPR and MSN. Then you will get a little insight of what's really happening instead of spoon fed garbage from Hannity and Hume
..........Now back to FIXED news and Sean Hannity on the Benghazi scandal for the most trusted, unbiased trustworthy late breaking news.......
