Why is there a need for two post offices one mile apart in a rural area to start with.

176 years. What a shame! I'm sure a lot of history has passed thru those doors.
There must be many antiques related to Postal Service left over from the years gone by. What will happen to them? Maybe someone( EVENING SUN?) could take photos of any such items and a reporter run a corresponding story so that we could all see.
There should have been a lot of history in those 176 years!
