Knouse bring these people in to take jobs from the locals and then want to allow harassment of them. Knouse you can't have it both ways. If you hire them it is your responsibility to provide a safe harassment free environment. Apparently you didn't get the memo!

This is pitiful. But how does asking one on a date constitute harrassment? That part of the statement doesn't make sense....we are way too sensitive if asking somebody on a date is harrassment.
However....I'd bet you a dollar to a donut all this crap happened to these workers for years and years and it's about time they got together and spoke up!
What a Joke

I've worked at both the Biglerville & Gardners plants, as well as have family members that work at the Orrtanna plant. I seriously doubt that any of these allegations have happened simply because Knouse Foods treats their Hispanic employees like gold. They are treated a lot better than any other nationality that works there (white people included). They let hispanic workers fall asleep on the job & then say that they can't be fired "because they are still in their work area". When immigration comes in to do illegal alien checks ALL of the illegal immigrants are "laid off". I simply do not think any of this happened at all.

Are they here legally? If not, they should take it up with their own country. If Knouse is promoting illegal workers, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of United States law.

There is alot of sexual harassement going on in all of the Knouse plants as well as other nonsense. Some of the personnel workers know who is legal and whose not. For example, a pregnant worker at the Orrtanna plant was given 1 month without pay when she had her baby in mid-October instead of maternity leave. Someone knew she's an illegal from Guatemala using Puerta Rican documents, as are most of the illegals working there. I believe everyone should be treated with total respect and fairness if they deserve it!

Knouse Foods will be exposed for hiring Illegals. Unforunately, nothing will happen to the Illegals.
Mexican's go home if you are not legally here.

"For example, a pregnant worker at the Orrtanna plant was given 1 month without pay when she had her baby in mid-October instead of maternity leave"<--if she was "seasonal status" & not eligible for insurance she wouldn't have recieved paid maternity leave even if she was a legal citizen. I don't think Knouse Foods will ever be caught hiring illegal workers. Like I said, when they get news that INS is inspecting they lay all the illegal workers off. If an illegal worker does get fired (for reasons other than being illegal) that same worker will come back the next season with a new name & social security number & get hired back. Besides, when that pallet plant got busted for all those illegal workers in 2006 almost every illegal worker in the Biglerville plant walked off the job & still had their job the next day! Would that have happened to a legal citizen? I don't think so, you would have been fired on the spot.

knouse treats all of the illegals like they are gold, they are given the best jobs & not laid off because they might look for another job since they cant collect unemployment. ins needs to come to all the plants & see how many illegals work at all knouse plants

well first off why is it that all these "illegals" get to do pretty much whatever they want in our country...collect welfare, take our jobs, not pay taxes....and those of us that pay taxes, are looking for jobs or barely making ends meet, and have family members and loved ones fighting for our country are left high and dry. Don't get me wrong everyone deserves to be treated fairly in their place of employment but if they aren't here legally why do they get to use our legal system to sue a company that they shouldn't be working at to begin with. That is what is wrong with our economy...SEND them back to where they belong...US AMERICANS ARE SICK OF SUPPORTING EVERYONE ELSE WHEN WE CAN'T SUPPORT OURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!
