Even though this boy is 14 I do not believe he should be going through juvenile court with the nature of his crimes. I know some of you will jump on my butt for saying that, but that is just how I feel. If he is going to RAPE a 4 year old child at the age of 14 what will he do as he gets older? Going through the juvenile courts he will get a slap on the wrist and be treated like a baby.

Dean, you have it right. As a juvie his court record will be sealed. He needs psych evaluation now. He is a danger just like a pedophile because the probability that he'll behave in a similar manner with another female as he grows older is high.

He will probably be placed at a juvenile facility that specializes in "rehabilitating" sex offenders. However, I do not believe that they can be "rehabilitated!"

The only rehab he needs is a 44 MAG!
This person will never be anything more than a parasite on society. Sorry for truth.

Shooting kids now, just great. Maybe they could put him on at the sheriffs department up there in Chambersburg. Didn't they have one in county employment recently? What did he get? I think it is sad for both the children, but shooting him is not the answer, morons.

What this boy did was totally wrong. He needs to go through some kind of treatment if that even helps. It almost makes you wonder if something like that didn`t happen to him when he was little. They say sexual abuse works in cycles. It is a sick world out there anymore. It all comes down to mostly that the parent`s don`t care.

Why don't we just shoot everyone who committs a crime. He committed a terrible crime against another child, he needs treatment, most likely hes a victim too. He is 14 a child himself, he is not an adult. He should not be treated as an adult. He needs treatment. An yes punishment.

Try him as an adult, rehabilitate him (if possible), jail him for sure. Most importantly, find out where the parents are in this situation. I am in no way blaming the parents of either child but make sure that this 4 yr old doesnt get placed in this kind of situation again...any child for that matter. I have a 3 yr old and I can not imagine the pain and fear that that poor lil girl felt. This is just horrible.

You are right, however, that is why there is a justice system. I just think it is crazy to say shoot the kid. The incident at the sheriff's office was an adult who admitted to sexual contact with a child. When it came out in the paper, he was suspended however prior to the story coming out, he was at work everyday, AFTER pleading guilty.
Sorry, think that something happened to the boy or other issues going on there but shooting him is not the answer. We don't live in the old west people and you can't go shooting 14 year olds.

I'm staying away from making judgements on this one - the thought of this just makes me sick, sick. I can't comprehend this and I feel so sorry for every person who loves and is in the life of this precious little girl. Lord, have mercy.

Hasn't even gone to kindergarten.

Have you listened to the music that kids are listening to today? It is unbelievable some of the junk and talk about sexual acts that these kids are exposed to daily! How about some of the video games?
And the pornography that is easy for kids to get their hands on.
And lets not forget about the adult movies that come over the TV that kids are watching when mom and dad are not around.
These things are more than enough to get young raging homones totally out of control. This stupid, dumb a s s kid probably did not even think about the affects that this will have on that poor little girl.
So Sad for everyone involved!!

Let's get it right. LOL

They had TWO at the Sheriff's department, BEFORE Sheriff Anthony was in charge.
