Jonathan Dennehy will say good-bye to the town and to his seat on the Board of Selectmen in January when he starts his new job as a foreign diplomat.

Mr. Dennehy would be well placed in Afghanistan or Iraq after having to deal with the warring, irrational factions in Ashburnham for the last several years. At least in those 2 countries there's a little hope of differences being solved.

Well it will certainly be less windy with Dennehy out of town, which will be nice. However I don't think I feel comfortable having him represent me anywhere.
