Civic planning again?
It was abandoned by weak politicians toadying to money and influence of a few that didn't want to be 'inconvenienced' for the public good.
Can this be done without a TOTAL revolution in attitudes back to a balance between the needs of the whole and the power of the few.

With the leap in the ability of new wind turbines to extract energy out of wind(the great leap led by ever taller gearless electric generators & carbon fiber turbines) & the plummeting wind turbine price per megawatt-hour of electricity, politics is falling on hard times as deep science economical wind turbines integrate readily with increasing types of power generation.

Why are they trying to reinvent government? Just set state standards for evironmental and saftey concerns and give the responsibility to the local zoning boards and be done with it.
