Anyone who would shoot at a cop has no conscience and would kill anybody or anything that got in his way. This guy is right where he belongs.

This corrections officer knew what he was doing. Was this a suicide by police. It's not just corrections officers that deal daily with the worst of people, especially in this economy and holidays coming up. Westminster Police Dept. is great. God Bless them all. The police who fought to control the situation were so couragous and put their life on the line.
My heart goes out to his wife who has so much to contend with right now.

Just to set the record straight, the only person this man was fighting with was his ex-wife on his cell phone. This had nothing to do with the pub. The worker at the bar did the right thing by calling information into police.

Seriously....what a wonderful run on sentence. Thank you for sharing, I probably lost a few brain cells reading this. I'm thankful for the stupid people who exist...really I am.

I am not quite sure what you are trying to say. If we both read the same article, it appears he brandished a handgun in a pub after an animated telephone conversation. Of course the worker did the right thing. No question or argument there. BUT, he went home, put on body armor and shots were fired at policemen. If the only person he was fighting with was his wife (or ex-wife) why were the lives of the police personel and the innocent bystanding neighbors put in jeopardy? this could have happened anytime anywhere once that gun was in his hand. By all means protect the integrity of your bar but don't undermine the seriousness of this situation. He snapped. period.

The wife should be glad she wasn't home when this maniac arrived. The police clearly did the right thing.

When you are mention that Correction Officers have to deal with the scum in our prisons every day, I assume that you are referring to having to deal with the OTHER Correction Officers.....

Yet he did and now he's dead. Maybe he was a good man at some point in his life, but he made the decision to point his gun at and shoot at police officers. The police did the right thing and the outcome is as expected. As it should be when someone starts firing at police officers.

Are you for real, so are you saying that everyone is not telling the truth. You can make this guy out to be whatever you want, but the bottom line is, he was no better than the scum he was paid to guard.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
