In the end, I will have accomplished my goal. I am sure the mother will stop riding her kids on the 4 wheeler. in the dark, on the road with no helmets. The children will be safer and won't be put in harms way.Am I pathetic, maybe I am.I don't know.I could of just call the police when I seen this dangerous and illegal act many of times.I didn't because most likely it would of been several tickets and fines close to $1000.00.I felt the money would of been more wisely spent on the kids.In the end,the children win in this topix.

Why is "Fired" the 1st thing out of people's mouth when an employee makes a mistake. Of course, I would be upset if this happened to my child, but I would also be thrilled to find my child was found unharmed. I'm sure the driver has apologized and is sorry for what happened.
And I'm sure the driver has been reprimanded. Why is that not enough, at least for what I assume is a first offense?
Instead of judging the family of the child, I would ask where was the child that he/she was not seen or heard when the kids were getting off the bus?

I have known this family for a few years. All of their kids are well mannered, nice kids. Very good people would do anything for their kids. They do ride 4 wheelers. The mother does not ride to much but she does watch when they do. They are very strict at how their kids ride.It is not dangerous or illegal. They DO NOT ride on the road. I find if very amusing to read this comment about calling the police. There has been several times I know of the cops have came here for reasons with other neighbors, they sit and watch them ride and bs with the parents. Just Saying' I know you are associated with the driver or a parent of one of the kids around here wanting to ride. They will not let anyone ride unless their watching and there is a parent out there watching them or riding with them at all times. You have changed your comments a few times trying to scare this family and thats what is pathetic. There are many people that ride lawn mowers, snow mobiles, 4 wheelers, golf carts, go carts all over town. They are having fun,not hurting anybody. Its people like you that need to mind your own buisness. Now on to what this forum is about a 4 year old left on a bus. It was parked at the bus barn. He was sleeping, that is why he didn't get off with the 3 other kids that were on the bus. He did get off the bus at the bus barn. I am sure the driver is sorry, as for as I know she has not apologized. She didn't do her job, they fired her on the spot. A HUGE MISTAKE THAT COULD HAVE COST A CHILD HIS LIFE. If that happened to one of mine, I would have went off. He was unharmed, very cold and scared. He has been traumatized. Please respect there family as they deal with what happened.

Can't help but think the fear he had to of went through. My heart breaks for them. He is a special little boy. Nice of you to look out for your neighbors. Just Saying' needs to worry about his own life. If you dont have anything nice to say keep it off here.

Well it's pretty much common sense, but I'll go over it so that you can understand as well. If someone makes a mistake waiting tables, maybe they forget to refill your drinks, or worse they drop a tray of food. In cases like that we can say, "oh well it was just a mistake". In this situation however it wasn't just a mistake. It was a neglect of duty that put the life of a 4 year old in danger. You can point to others like the school if you want, but ultimately it's the bus driver's fault. And as judgmental and harsh as it may seem to you, this kind of negligence can't be tolerated when the safety of an innocent has been compromised. A huge trust issue would arise, had the school not acted appropriately and terminated the employee.

It's unfortunate for the bus driver and their family, and I wish them well. I hope they find employment soon. Just not in child transportation.

I dont think you read the whole thing. It was a small bus as there were only 4 kids that got on and 3 that got off. Thanks for your comment.

This driver appearently can't. Bus drivers are responsible for and trusted to get children where they need to go while keeping them safe. What is the reason for this driver not doing that?

Not happy at all hearing this story. Has the driver been charged? What is the school & bus company doing for this boy? Rich or not it should not be taken light. To the ones that are on here with the 4 wheeler stories your about as backwards as your stories sound. Dont know shit of what your talking about. Have some dam respect & stay off this forum.
