If he was so good he would play varsity. So just wishful thinking on your part. JV stats don't mean anything. The good players move up to varsity so he must not be good enough. The varsity doesn't have a very good QB so if the JV QB was soo good he would be brought up.

We lost a big lineman. Moved out of the district.
Hopefully his replacment can handle the position. A little worried.

Nothing wrong with our varsity qb. You want the kid who throws sidearm? I think not. Not to mention his father is a turd.

I have an idea for you, get off the computter and go get your kid out of his room and encourage him to get better. It is easy to see you are the same person changing your name a re-posting dumb stuff. Do you think anyone cares what you think or have to say. It is people like you that are ruining this country. You want everything given to you and your kid. To bad, when it comes to CC football you have to earn your playing time. If you really think its so bad, please tell us all how instead of making pointless posts. Until then, why don't you man up go talk to the coach or better yet look in a mirror and try to fix the jerk you see there. Atleast that is something you can control. But froming reading your posts, I bet you would rather complain about kids that work their buts off for playing time and make excuses for yourself and your kid. Move to Braidwood loser!

You do have the right to have your own option but you do not have the right to make your own truth. You come on a website using a fake name and make statements about people that have no chance to defend themselves. On top of that, you have yet given an example of how your option is real. I would love to hear examples so I can be as informed as you. Until you are willing to at least do that, remember its your option. Keep it to yourself !

The kid that could be the future at QB on the JV team is being held back at every turn.We actually thought that playing High School FB at Coal City would be a good thing. In fact its been nothing short of joining the teachers union.twice this year(Not yet half way thru) He has been pulled off the feild because and I quote. You have scored two touchdowns its someone elses turn.only to lose the game.during his third game he played every spot on the field.line, linebacker, saftey,r eceiver, running back, quarterback, punter, and kick off.Only a moran would be able to conceive an argument that ANY kid would be able to be a better football player when you are trying to remember what you are suposed to do when your assignment during a game is every spot but field goal kicker. There is ABSOLUTLY nothing being done to advance his skills at QB or any other spot. His first three games he only played @25% of the time.Being told(I quote) We have to make sure the other kids get the time to get better.I do not know what we have at the Miner level but I can tell you this.If I have anything to do with the develpment of the red head he will be playing golf next fall

Yea Don. You have great hopes for your grandson but wake up and realize he is not any better than alot of the other boys on the team. You will see if he ever makes it to the varisty level how good he really is. He probably could make Varsity Gold now though.

Hey Don,
Your grandson isnt even the best quarterback on jv. If so, he would be playing qb and not wide reciever, and don, someone has to deliver the ball to him so he can score those touchdowns. I will admit that he's a talent but at wideout or running back, not qb.

Your grandson could make Varsity Golf not Gold. Jv Qb has more talent than the red head I agree with that. Don has to get with it a little bit and quit living in a dream world about this kid. We will see in the years to come who the best players are. Only time will tell so if he decides to golf we will know football was not for him. Only the tough stick it out in football. Good luck to him in whatever he may choose.

Hey the kid is good. I'd like to see him start at qb as a junior myself. He's a talented kid who can play anywhere. Let's just not talk about freshman play time. Freshman football is simply developmental. Let the kids get their feet wet and learn how to play together

How do you know?Who plays has nothing to do with competician thats my whole point. its based on senoirity. This is not being done with just one kid. and as far as one of your points go I do agree with you.most people think that finding a kid at any younger age that can throw and play QB at any level above average is not an easy thing to a point thats true.I argue thats the hardest thing to find is a kid at any level that can catch a ball on the run especially with his back away from the throw.i know from my originail email I made it sound like it was all about him I am sorry about that I should have chose my words better. This concerns a handful of kids.mark my wordswhat is going on as far as a team goes the varsity will be as good as it gets for @ 2-4 years..and as far as Brad this is not the first time this has happened.after the 2nd game he started playing Qb at freshmen.I admit there are times he does not look good there. He only practices one day a week with those kids saturday mornings. There are two spots on the feild that if a person only practices at once a week you should find something else Qb and the field goal kicker.I know the majority of the kids on the sidelines I know what I have seen with my own eyes what those kids can do.its not been that long ago that the first group that played last nite in the first game lost two games and the 2nd was in the super bowl.are we to beleive that kids go from that to whats happened over the last three games?2 1/2 minutes into the 2nd quater last nite and the game was over.please do not say that kids change and things are different because that its only revelant to a small handful uf kids.Something else is going on.I would even go out on a limb and say with the body language I obderved last nite the the game ended in the first quarter.now we are halfway thru a season were the last four games should be used to set the tone for next year but because of the senoirity system was used and not a competician system we are going to need to start over or suffer and waste 4 games of valuble experiance.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
