Local 4-H members participate in Texas 4-H Congress

Members of the Ector County 4-H Program were among the 283 young delegates to the Texas 4-H Congress, which convened July 13-16 at the State Capitol.

The only 4-H member that went to Congress this time was my daughter Alexis. Needless to say I am very proud of her, I wish there had been more kids that went but maybe next time. This is also the 100th year of 4-H in Texas, so that made it more special, but there was NO recognition from Ector Co.
