Tarrant has become a bad area. Hopefully if good businesses move in, like Hamburger Heaven, it will help the area.

Tarrant may be a bad area but thousands of people pass by there every day to and from work. If they hire the right people who will keep the riff raff away, maybe we can enjoy a better selection of food, build up a little and maybe even get a real grocery store.

i lived in tarrant 1982-1984 and loved that place. it was a great place to be a kid. i remember cornelius' grocery store, eating my first fried chicken snacks at jack's, eating sunday lunch at the coffee shop restaurant -- i drove through there last week to go by my old house in tarrant gardens, the middle school, the old softball fields, and the rec center and i just couldn't help but think, "what the heck happened to tarrant?" does anyone know how it got this way???

Lowlife types took over. I too grew up in Tarrant before hy 75 went through and wiped out housing on both side of the street. The old Imperial theater is now just a shell of itself. Tarrant now reminds me of some third world community less the palm trees. After Clow Pipe folded things just went downhill from there. Such a shame to see how things turned out for Tarrant City.
