Yes on Measure A - Redondo Beach's rare opportunity to redraw its waterfront
The most contentious issue on the ballot affecting the entire city of Redondo Beach is Measure A. The initiative calls for a phaseout of the AES power plant from its 50-acre site and amendment of the city's general plan, the Coastal Land Use Plan, the Harbor/Civic Center Specific Plan and the City Charter.

We don't need this plant. CA exports power, we make more than we need. AND we pay a higher price than we sell it to the grid. If we are going to get burned then fine, we should not have to deal with the pollution. Go build it in Death Valley!!!!
