Topix censors almost everything--so it may not be that bad...it is still amazing to me that anyone still claims to believe in christianity after all the violence and genocide that has happened it the name of christ. Joyce myers is another one. She tells women how to treat their husbands, and preaches down to people who live beyond their means. I mean get for real. She isn't living beyond her means so to speak because she is living off of the hard earned money of her congregation. Ah, Joyce and others like her aren't hurting in this economy. But congregates of hers and others like her who are struggling job wise, are pumping money into these TV preachers pockets out of low self worth and depression. I mean don't these congregants see that these preachers that they beleive in have limos, personal planes, a TV set, check out the clothes they are the best of 5th Ave personally designed for their own personal taste, makeup artist, hairstylist and more. All this to tell you how to live ., how much to tithe, how to pray, and how they perceive God.

Yeah, I attended the church when I lived in Anaheim, but never felt a part of that huge empire they were building. Constantly begging for money all the while Shuller and his execs lived like kings in palaces. What a crock that place is - nothing but a money making sham - until this economy that this. They had their dues coming.

Sadly Robert A is not anointed like his father. He is a person who was given the reigns to an organization for which is unqualified. It is no different than many family companies. When I first learned of Robert A's divorce, that was strike one for me. When I heard him preach and speak to the audience like he was instructing a bunch of kindergartners, that was strike two. When I saw and heard his beach-bum looking son preach, that was strike three. And, my financial contributions ended which I assume happened around the country. I remember seeing a billboard for Robert A with his picture and flames in the background. The billboard looked like Robert A was preaching from the bowels of hell, not the green gardens of the Crystal Cathedral. Why would allow such a horrible billboard to be created? Only Robert A, not Robert H! Robert A probably felt a strong compulsion to take over the family firm from a early age, but his father should have seen that his son was not qualified to do so. Look at the congregation. They are predominantly from the father's generation, and have a limited life span. I have become a loyal viewer of Joel Osteen, but am still a fan of the Almighty's. I pray for the cathedral, but the son was not qualified to run it, and sadly neither is the father at his age. Only God can fix the church now, and He will!

Radical Teacher; First of all I have fond memories of passing through your hometown of Las Cruces. Second; I agree that sometimes Topix censors things for no apparent reason. You really don't know what they wrote. Thisd, why did you spell the name of Christ with a lower case "c"? Just wondering.

I'm sorry, but You know not of what You speak, the Crystal Cathedral is the only World Wide Ministry in existence, on T.V. in Russia and China bringing the word of Christ to people that would never hear. The ministry doesn't run on peanuts, besides that, the money wasn't the main reason, Robert Anthony was making changes in the Church that none of Us older people liked and that's why He is gone. It was with a heavy heart that Robert removed His Son. God bless You and Your's.
