More and more people are discovering B. Brown's Kitchen on Roslyn Avenue directly across from the firehouse. A sit-down deli with a great variety of breakfasts, lunches and even suppers a couple of days a week. Come in and try something while picking up the hours and menu. Good place to relax. How about some comments from Brown regulars?

Big announcement: B. Brown's is having its monthly sauerbraten meal on January 29, but you must call for a reservation (takeout or eat-in) by January 22. It's about $12 and worth every penny. There are regulars who sign up each month. But newcomers are more than welcome. Try it, you'll like it!

Personally I love this deli. Not only do they have great food, but when we asked them to support the fight against MDS and Leukemia they stepped right up.

Without a blink they agreed to allow BRAVERY bracelets to be sold within their store to raise money for the fight against cancer.

This is a real local business and cares about Sea Cliff, please support them

Daniel and hundreds of other satisfied customers can't be wrong about B. Brown's Deli. A winner in all aspects: good food, fair prices, friendly service. They have it all. Try it and you'll come back, guaranteed!

B. Brown's is a pleasant place, good food, fair prices and nice eople. A much better alternative to the crummy deli that Arata's has become, with it's rude owners, and bland over priced food. I once got a chicken parm sandwich at Arata's and threw it away it was so bad. Tasteless sauce, rubbery cheese, dry chicken and stale bread at a high price! Money wasted!

B. Brown's is better by far!

Become a regular at B. Brown's Kitchen and you have a home away from home for life. The food is terrific, lots of variety each day. Everything is fresh and they'll combine anything you want. Nice little atmosphere with their half-dozen tables made for four people each. Stop in and try it. You'll be back before you know it.

We took Joe Krupinski's advice about going to B. Brown's Kitchen for breakfast and/or lunch way back last November. Now regular customers and suggesting it to friends all the time. Cordial crowd at the tables. Two breakfast clubs on Fridays and Saturdays. One is the formidable foursome of Ann DiPietro, Nancy Gordon, Eda D'Amico and Jacqueline Warren chatting away about a myriad of subjects. Lots of laughter at Table No. 1, which makes the whole place bubble. Best hash brown potatoes around. Eggs to order. Bagels galore. Good coffee.

Flipper: Could it be that you wolved down your sandwich too quickly? All the food at B. Brown's is fresh, pal, so don't point a finger.

Herald Hater: Glad to hear you're still around, while the Herald publisher has gone to greener pastures in New Jersey. Back into the construction business which his father taught him. The dream of publishing a commuinity newspaper just didn't work out.
Back to B. Brown's: Good line about my Myriad of Gemini personalities, but I only take up one table unless I'm with friends. Life is good.

at a table with friends, you mean a table and four empty chairs... you are a joke in the town. people acutally make fun of you and your new friend. did you have to bail her out a couple of months ago or did she get released on her own when she got arrested a few months back?

You ought to change your name to jUst HATER, you poor excuse for a human being. Leave my friend out of your insidious messages or I'll come over and cold-cock you. And in front a couple of your friends, which is about how many you have. You see, I know just who you are and where you hang out.

Herald Hater and Giggles: Which of you will reveal your identity to the public first? We already know who you are, so why not come out and announce it. Be the BIGGER MAN.

Now that we have Herald Hater and Giggles settled down, we can go on with the latest news from B. Brown's Kitchen. A popular politico (you KNOW whom we mean) is courting a classy lady who used to live in Sea Cliff a few years back and recently returned. What an eye-catching couple they make. Her favorite is eggs over easy, while he enjoys them scrambled. Thought you would like to know these kind of details. She has gotten him into a new casual wardrobe. Her wardrobe, meanwhile, is exquisite. PS: Her birthday is tomorrow, July 10, so look for them dining out at Metropolitan Bistro or Roots.

You're jealous, Gigs, that is obvious. That's why you're making up stories about my beautiful lady because "You can't stand the truth." A la Jack Nicholson as the Marine officer.

As for vomiting in your own mouth, I find that repulsive. But you obviously like your regurgitation frothy. Each to his own.

As for the village elections, they were both fun and a service to Sea Cliff. Anyway, that's what I have heard from my fellow residents who voted for me and didn't vote for me. In fact, they gave me a White Cap Award for my political activities in 1997. How many elections did YOU run in? I believe that number would be ZERO.

Which also describes you!

Join the folks who frequent B. Brown's Kitchen. Besides good food and courteous service, there is a friendly attitude pervading the place. It is easy to talk to someone at the next table. Friendships are being formed every day. Unless you like to sit in silence having your breakfast or lunch, frowning and alone, you will love this center of attrraction for the lively set. Try it, you will like it.
