This message is to Amber, Stephanie's big sister. I hope you feel some responsibility for the death of your sister. Word on the street is that you went with Stephanie to Paula's apartment and helped yourself to the items which did not belong to you, and ultimately cost your sister her life. Did it never occur to you that stealing from a felon, who had a history of shooting someone, might result in an unhappy ending? Obviously, you and your sister were the same kind of white trash as Kyron was black trash. Now the lives of Kyron's family, Paula's family, and your family will never be the same. For anyone interested in the truth, Paula went along with Kyron that night thinking that Stephanie was going to give back the key to her apartment, and now for her stupidity, she will be spending the rest of her life in prison. To all the young girls and adults who never once thought of calling the police, or calling and warning Stephanie that Kyron was coming to kill her, think about the part you played in this drama, and know that just one phone call to the police from any one of you might have saved Stephanie's life and avoided the tragedy that played out that night.

I am disgusted by the fact that Stephanie endured what she did and although she herself acted in a way that put herself in harms way, she didn't deserve to die. My heart aches for her family. Because I know what it feels like to lose someone you love. I am satisfied that Kyron will spend the rest of his life in prison. No doubt in my mind, he belongs somewhere far worse. However, my heart aches for my own family because we, too have just lost someone we love. You can sit there and say that your loss is worse because you cannot see or speak to your loved one ever again. But for us, it's no slighter a disappointment or heartache that our family member has to sit in a prison and have her life taken away from her far too short...for a crime that she herself did not commit. Paula to had a chance to testify but she choose to stand by her MAN if you can call him a man.I have heard all kind of BS about poor poor Paulabut the facts remain the same she took him there and she drove the get away car and decided to stand Kyron And as far as her only being only 14 when she started dating him WHERE WAS HER PARENTAL GUIDENCE,some should have stepped in if it was as bad as you all say. They are both where they belong.

First I would like to say sorry for the loss to Stephanie’s family!
I could not imagine what you have gone through; my prayers go out to you!

Three families have been affected by this tragic event in different ways, each loosing a loved one. I would like to say to these families that if you have learned anything from this I hope it is to love the ones you have and to keep them from trouble. Kyron, Paula, & Stephanie were all involved in some shady business and I am in a loss for words wondering why their family did nothing to help them. I don’t not personally know any of these families so I do not know what they may have done to help these children in their troubled ways.

I can only wonder what Paula was thinking? Why would she take him over there and drive the car? Then to come home and not call the police? I’m sure she was thinking that Kyron was going to beat her once again if she said anything! Why didn’t you take the plea Paula?? You would only be locked up for 15 years but no you couldn’t rat out someone who did not care about you! You lost your life because of a crime you helped him in. No she did not pull the trigger but he didn’t know how to get there without her, she drove the car to pick him up when he ran, and then she did not say a word to the police when she knew he killed her “friend”. What Paula did is disgusting, wrong, and deserving of punishment!!

I can only hope that Kyron will never see outside of prison walls. What he did is unreal; you do not shoot someone 5 times because of material things and loss of respect! You are a sick sick person who will never learn the difference between right and wrong!

Mike on the other hand should have NEVER got into that car with them! He should have came forward, but he did not pull the trigger nor did he help in any way.

This is a sad story, nothing can bring Stephanie back and can not stop what has already been done by Kyron and Paula. I hope everyone can take a valuable lesson from this awful experience.

Big Mike, at a likely 240 pounds, came along to try and stop Kyron who is realatively slight? Give me a break! If BM wanted to stop Kyron he most certainly could have and would have done so. Well, this one is easy to pick apart. Justice and society said something to his face - permanently. This is just a wild guess but I'd venture to say that Kyron isn't going to be too pleased with his so-called life the next 60 or so years - or however long he lasts.

As for having one up on "you haters" - I guess that means that he certainly outdid any of us here on this forum on the hate side.

Also, laws in the state of Michigan don't dictate that people are put to death for stealing. Using your logic then Kyron would soon be six-feet-under considering he's been found guilty of murder. Taking it down a step, using your logic, if you run a red light and get caught you should have your foot cut off? Consider that next time you screw something up.

I agree. Not to mention that this feuding between loved ones of all 3 involved is just silly. Stephanie's family didn't have anything to do with her stealing from Kyron and Paula, just as their families had nothing to do with the murder. As you said, there are no winners here, and there's really no reason to argue about it now because it won't change anything.

anyways, so although she did not deserve to be murdered, she did make the mistake of being involved with some situations that were not good, as has paula by being involved with kyron in the first place. paula may not have made the right decisions but i don't think she deserves to lose her life because of kyron's actions.

i have read that she supposedly "knew" that he was going to do it, but i've also read that she thought they were going to get her key back.

personally knowing paula and her awful relationship w/kyron, i would have to believe that she thought the gun was to scare stephanie into giving the key and the stuff back, but maybe that's just me.

I don't know Paula personally but I can tell you I saw her in the court room throughout the trial and she showed little to no remorse threw the whole thing other than when her friend Jessica was testifing,and when they read the verdict.That seemed pretty cold to me.

Just as Stephanie didn't deserve to lose her life over a bad decision she made, Paula doesn't deserve it either for making a bad decision. As far as no remorse...she didn't kill Stephanie and she didn't want her killed. I saw her get upset on various occasions. Not to mention, there's plenty of times that I do not show my emotions even when I'm dying inside. Does everyone always wear their heart on their sleeve? No. I can understand your hatred for Kyron. But for Paula, what makes you think that she could've done anything to prevent this if she thought they were just going there to get their things back? For everything in this case, what it boils down to for me is just WHY WHY WHY? Do you think that if Paula hadn't gone with Kyron, that Stephanie would be alive? Because I don't. If Paula had went to the police after this, would Stephanie still be alive? No. If the police had immediately followed up on the stolen property, maybe she would be alive. If one of the girls would have called the police, maybe she would still be alive. If Big Mike would have bitch slapped Kyron's sorry ass and took his gun away then what? Stephanie had a knife...she must have had an idea or she wouldn't have felt the need for protection. Why did she even go outside? Why didn't she just call 911? These are all things that I wish would have happened. Not because I'm attempting to place blame other than where it belongs. But because if maybe things had been done differently, the McClure family wouldn't be suffering and neither would our family...as far as Kyron, I do feel for his family, however, if it wasn't Stephanie, I strongly believe it would have at some point been someone else.
