Check out all the state police cars already lined up at the people of Michigan's capitol! See it on maddoeblog. It will be a good day for criminals in the state today! The real criminals are mr.pRick sniper and his fellow sorebutters in his legislature who take it often for the Kochs, DeVos, et al. The police will NOT be forgiven, either! Pricky is a mad king who needs a quillotine.

10,000 union workers plan to skip work today to march in protest?

Companies could save a lot in payroll by firing the whole lot of them for not showing up to work..but their union contract says the workers aren't required to actually show up to work on a regular basis.

Of course, most union members in Michigan are now unemployed since they killed the auto industry in Detroit, so it's not like they have anything else to do..besides, I hear there's free coffee and donuts.

Governor Snyder campaigned as a "moderate Republican". Now he is showing his true colors.

The people of the State of Michigan were locked out of the Capitol in Lansing while the Republicans pushed through their radical agenda during a lame duck session with NO DEBATE. Right TO WORK FOR LESS is only ONE of their radical new laws.

Governor Snyder, backed by out-of-State ALEC forces, has declared war on the people of the State of Michigan.

A few Republicans even voted against the new laws, but there are almost NO moderate Republicans anymore. They, including the governor, are under constant threat by the the radicals to be dethroned in primaries.

There is ONLY one solution: a GENERAL STRIKE.

All members of ALL unions need to strike in protest of the dictatorial way that these new laws were passed.

The laws are anti-Middle Class, anti-women, anti-Public Education, anti-safety, and anti-environment, just like in the third world countries where the Republicans like to do business.

Please spread the word that we need a GENERAL STRIKE. There hasn't be one in the US since the 1940's. One day squawking at the Capitol will accomplish NOTHING. It will fall on dead ears. A GENERAL STRIKE will force our elected officials to listen.

Wake up, AMERICA. As goes Michigan, so goes the country. The BILLIONAIRES have declared WAR on the MIDDLE CLASS and the BILLIONAIRES are WINNING.

They shoved this crap through because they know they wouldn't succeed doing so in January.

This doesn't make sense. Michigan helped get anti business, class warfare Collectivist, Obama reelected just last month.

No State went for Obama who wanted GOOD things to happen to their families. Michigan chose failure over success. All the States that went for Obama prefer every tomorrow to be worse than yesterday.

It's a "progressive" thing.

Yeah, it's a race to the bottom. Republicans think we'd be such a great country if we could just go back to slavery and indentured servitude. 1% is sharing too much of the wealth. We need to narrow that to .0001%, Robber Barons and Serfs.

Where are Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower when you need them????

None of this activity out of the Republican Party is new. They don't care what the people think or want. They don't care about what laws were passed by the Supreme court decades ago. Only the Dems are stupid enough to sit there and worry. If the Dems don't start getting some strategy going, hitting the GOP where they get their votes and money, the Dems will become a dinosaur, too. Dems need to get their game on, seriously. 24 states later, they decide to protest the Right to Work laws. Sheesh. They should have nipped it in the bud before the first state ratified it. You Dems better start getting "innovative" and "radical" in fighting the Republicans. I hope Geoffrey Feiger decides to run again for Gov. Somebody that knows how the FIGHT! How can the Dems help the people, if they don't fight. I don't need President Obama to give me lip service, I, and the people, need him to start getting some strategy going. Thanks. Good luck to the protesters.

Is this payback because Snydley couldn't deliver Rmoney's home state to the devil?

If Michigan voted overwhelmingly for Obama, why would Michigan support Snydley's dictatorial new laws???

AMEN. The answer is easy too. JUST STAY HOME. We need a GENERAL STRIKE. One day driving to Lansing won't accomplish anything. Unions and supporters of the Middle Class, spouses who get their health insurance through a union spouse, need to stand up against the bullies.

It's time, if ever there were one, for a GENERAL STRIKE. Spread the word. We can demand government accountability, and DUE PROCESS from our ELECTED OFFICIALS.

FDR would have to run as a Republican today. He refused to Unionize Public Employees saying it would be a disaster. He foresaw that America couldn't survive as sleezy politicians would sell every one and everything else out in return for Union campaign support....like in California.$800,000,000,000 State Debt plus $100's of Billions in over promised Pension bonanzas.

It seems that FDR was a visionary.
