Marjorie Rist becomes new probation chief

Yolo County Board of Supervisors Chair Mike McGowan announced the appointment of Marjorie Rist as Yolo County's chief probation officer.

Admin Staff are still allowed to illegally work from home on Yolo County's dime. Why aren't the board of supervisor members initiating an investigation. Just interview the rank and file officers of Yolo County Probation.

This affects moral in the department, and allowing some to work at home undermines other employees who show up to work every day.

Someone obviously has an issue with this young lady, as well as the former chief probation officer. If this complaint is valid, why not make it through the proper channels? Anonymous "muck-raking" in a public forum is cowardly. I know several probation employees and they all speak very highly of the new chief. As a Yolo County resident (and tax payer) that's good enough for me.

No mention was made of the former chief, I am sorry that you want to squelch this VERIFIABLE information that should be provided to the public, and Yolo County Taxpayers.
