Not sure what the Problem is with James...He enjoys entertaining...Regarding Star Trek he enjoys sharing his interest with others....its obvious that people from around the world enjoy what he does and being part of it. He has had consistent, positive reactions from entertainment professionals. The project has demonstrated, inspired and helped other like minded people to do their own version of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek. From a personal POV my assciation with his James Cawley and Star Trek P2 has led to roles on Law and order, Pan Am, Men in Black 3 and a number of others. I look forward to doing more Star Trek Phase 2. AS far as Elvis...obviously nothing beats the original but I had seen James perform at the Great Escape when I took my family there and he was packing them in every hour or so when he performed.(its tough to get kids to sit that long but the parents made them as they enjoyed it). He has raised alot of money for local charities and a variety ofcauses throughout the years. I am sure those places appreciate his efforts. His show also employees a number of people that enjoy the extra money they make especially during these hard economic times. Finally as far as what his projects do for the local community at large, when you have 2 or 3 hundred people for a couple of weeks renting rooms and cabins, buying food, using the laundry mat buying gas and other day to day needs alot of money is spent in an area that desparatley needs people like James Cawley....Rock On James!

Voted #1 by Elvis' personal associates in a contest of 2500 sponsored by Graceland. Call Graceland, they will verify. Sold out the Tropicana every show (9 per week) for 13 weeks... a Trop record that still stands. The shows at GE have been sold out every month since February.

So...if you don't like James' show, don't go. You probably wouldn't like Elvis' show either.

I only discovered James recently and though I've never seen him live, I felt he did far more than a credible job recreating the Elvis experience on the small GE stage. His love for Elvis, music, performing, and entertaining as well as the detail he adds in both his stage show and his Trek productions speak so highly of the man that it pains me to read such negativity about a class act who does so much to give of himself for the enjoyment of others. Thank you James.

This guy seems a bit dubious. He claims to have worked on Star Trek The Next Gen but that's really doubtful considering he seems to be born and based out of NY, and TNG was shot in Hollywood in the late 80's and early 90's.
For all the claims he's made he's got no IMDB credits other than his own web based fan tribute production, and as an extra in the 2009 Star Trek reboot. Honestly, anyone who can walk from point A to point B on cue can be an extra. Only no talent actors with no prospects would ever think of being an extra. It's considered beneath most serious actors to be an extra even to pay the rent.
Sole exception would be the extras playing zombies in The Walking Dead who are trained to physically act and do a bit more than stand in the background with the back of their heads to the camera pretending to have a conversation with another extra.

I have been attempting to locate this "King of Rock 'n Roll" for some time now, and was shocked to see such negative comments about such a fine, young gentleman as James. He is, without doubt, the best of Elvis impersonators in this country, not only in voice, but choreography as well. One might as how I know this? I was personally affiliated with Jim in the '90's when the TCB band was formed. Jim traveled miles at a time to practice with local musicians in order to perform the next to perfect performance of the legend himself. In the spring of 1994, James performed with Elvis's original backup singers, the famous Jordannaires, at the Procotrs in Schenectady, NY, and proceeds from that concert were donated to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. This being just one mention of his dedication to aid those in need through his gift as a performer. In the years prior to and following my association, I was appauled by the fact that even some of the musicians performing along with James were envious of his fame as an entertainer, Sadly, from the reviews here written, I can see the times have not changed, and it would not surprise me to learn that some or most of these negative comments have been submitted by those individuals themselves. It is sincerre hope that James continues to perform as Elvis, and to know that true fans are able to set the stage back in time and enjoy the "absolute perfection" of his performances.

Uh, you really need to check your facts. James NEVER stated he was an actor on TNG. He was a costumer. As in, he worked in the costume dept. Maybe that's why he has no IMDB acting credits?

As far as being an extra, he was at the studio for a business meeting. JJ saw him and recognized him from the New Voyages stuff then INVITED him to be an extra. So, in short, he isn't an actor but was asked to do something any fan would give their right arm to do.
