Bath needs more than bars, hair salons and gas stations, to keep it running. I appreciate the various stores in downtown Bath, but K Mart's prices are high and selection is low. I hear people complaining about WalMart selling overseas products. Go into Rite-Aid, Tops, P&C, K Mart, Fashion Bug, etc. and try to find all made in the USA products. Many communities have complained about WalMart coming into their areas, but without their WalMarts, those same communities may have "folded." Many of the same people complaining about a bath WalMart, I see at other area WalMarts. I'm tried of the canned chatter about WalMart coming to Bath. Yes, there should be criteria for any business that comes into the Bath area and should have to follow it. I hope if WalMart comes, that they also will bring more business with them, as they have in other communities.
