When I took my two year old for "pop in play" it was nice. So, I scheduled my daughters Birthday party and it was a DISASTER!! Don't waste your $300+++ IT IS NOT WORTH IT.!! The staff were RUDE AND DECEITFUL!! Once they they have your credit card number, which you have to give them as a deposit, that's it, your stuck! No refunds, and if you have an emergency and have to cancel, they tell you, THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD ANYWAY, EVEN IF YOU DON'T SHOW UP! And the extra charges are ridiculous!!! Everything is charged to your original card, and the pizza prices are much higher than the store they get them from. You have no control over anything there. They expect your children to jump for 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES with no break in the play rooms, while parents or children are not even allowed to sit in the party room to rest/wait. Not even to drink bottled water in between, nothing, your expected to just wait in the play room the entire time. Only at the very end are you allowed in the party room,(parents cannot even put their coats in there until the end). Even though you pay for the pizza and drinks etc. you STILL cannot bring any other food in with you!!! Only dry prepackaged snacks, veggies etc . Then you get a very short time there, then are charged something like $30 for every 15 minutes you remain in the party room. It is stupid, and not worth the money. Other locations may be ok, but Lanham is a trap, don't go!!

I liked the drop in playtime for my 4 yr old, but I have a friend who had a similar experience there. The staff would not budge and she was very unhappy. I guess it is ok for the day time drop in, but just not very good for birthday parties.

I went to a party here and I must say I agree. There aren't many seats for the parents to sit on, so you basically go from one room to another and are forced to sit on the floor. We went in the winter, so we had to carry all of the children's coats, hats, mittens, socks and shoes from room to room to room. The children love it, but by the end even they were tired of jumping. I got on some of the slides and played with the kids so it made it easier. But the birthday's childs grandparents attended and there was no where for them to sit. We had 20 kids and parents, we had to feed everyone pizza and cupcakes and get them out of there in approx 30 minutes...it was a big circus! Jeepers and Chucky cheese are better organized and more considerate of the adults.

I find all the quotes inadequate... I've been to Pump It Up of Lanham 3 times for my children's birthday parties and have never had an experience as you people claim to have had. You may have some things go wrong with your party, and that's to be expected when you're having back to back parties. I totally in disagreeance....

You can't possibly be talking about the same Pump It Up !!!. We just had a party there 2 weeks ago and had a blast!!! We will continue to patronize their business until my child wants something else. All I would say is read your contract and be aware of what you are getting.

Pump it up is a horrible germ factory. It is utter chaos and overpriced.
I hope they all go out of business. They force you to sign a waiver in case your child is injured. Apparently, they know the place is an accident waiting to happen.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Pisces

This is a great day for understanding what's going on under the surface of things and for tuning into the subtle messages that others are sending out. For instance, someone may say one thing yet you'll be utterly convinced that they really mean something quite different. However, they won't like it if you say so, so you'll have to maintain a tactful and discreet silence.
