Spring Garden woman remembers Beltway Sniper terror

When Wendy Daly heard the news that John Allen Muhammad, the convicted Beltway Sniper, was going to be executed Tuesday in Virginia, it brought memories.

More states should have the balls that Texas and Virginia have. This lady should take a little trip to Iraq/Afghanistan if she wants to see what real "terrifying" is all about.

I live in Alexandria, VA and remember the incident all to well. It was a terrifying time, to randomly pick out innocent people who were doing ordinary things is a shame. The killings were truly random, white, black, hispanic just doing routine things in their lives when they were killed. I hope Malvo rots in hell, do I support the death penalty, hell yes!!!!

I want to know why the newspaper thought her story was even important enough to report. Are we suppose to feel bad for her because she has "guilt"? I am more concerned about the actual victims and their families and not someone seeking attention from the media.
