GALVESTON - The City of Galveston is declaring a Stage 5 Drought Contingency – EMERGENCY Water Shortage Condition. This condition is in response to the partial failure of the Gulf Coast Water Authority's 42" waterline that supplies the City of Galveston and other communities in southern Galveston County.
