I am glad Wes found another calling and is filling an employment void that needs to be filled. However, as many of his past co-workers are aware, this article proves that Wes is definitely a legend in his own mind!

This isnt the guy who was in the military and tested positive for marijuana. Then told a military judge he was a dope cop which was a lie. Then was fired for drug use and lying. Wow, I would if this is the guy. Anyone know?

Yes it is the same Wes. He is a joke. Ask anyone. His own Mother in law can't stand him. He lost his job with VPD for dope and was kicked out of the military. He never went to Iraq, he was a reserve that was never called to duty. End of story.

Did you guys have a run in? Are you his mother-in-law? Would you say this to his face? I'm not the biggest fan of our PSU but your post was really mean. Tomorrow you'll be grinning in his face.

Rachel, you were hoodwinked. Did you even verify anything? I know the fella pictured in the article and what is written is not the same fella I know. I was shocked and appalled when I read the yarn spun in this story.

The fella I know never worked at SFPD, he was a Correctional Officer for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department and had ZERO street experience.

The fella I know was never a VPD Hostage Negotiator.

The fella I know was far from a hero and he did whatever he could to steer clear of conflict.

The fella I know never saved a life in the line of duty while at VPD.

The fella I know never saved anyone off that "new" bridge.

The fella I know never "scooped" anyone out of the water.

The fella I know never took responsibility for poor decisions he made and routinely threw others under the bus to save himself, even if the truth needed to be stretched.

The fella I know was good at stretching the truth.

The fella I know was a "C" list hire at the VPD.

The fella I know did not "retire" from VPD with a career ending injury from a terrifying fight, he was "let go."

So, Rachel we must be talking about two different people, because you would not be so incompetent as to not verify this story before you memorialized it in print, would you? You have been had!

Hook, it sure sounds like you know this person. He did work at VPD, but he chose not to include this in his puff piece. He did not retire, he was indeed fired. Wes was in the military and tested positive for marijuana. He appeared before Judge Bowers, who at the time was a military JAG. He told Judge Bowers he was a narc and he must have tested positive due to his exposures from his drug cases. Wes was never a drug cop. He had a drug problem and since he contacted a lot of drug users he had easy access to marijuana.

He was a horrible employee when he showed up to work. He was usually late and barely worked. Wes would claim to be on military leave from VPD, but he never showed up to military training because he was out on a “back injury.” He was never in a fight for his life as a police officer, he never saved a life, and he was never a hero. Wes made excuses about his injuries to avoid going to Iraq. He received a discharge, not an honorable one, from the military.

Wes is not a hero, he was a pathetic officer, and he was a scammer. To bad Rachel did not contact anyone at VPD prior to writing this article. Wes probably never told her he worked their. Knowing his he probably told her he was not allowed to say that or some other BS line. Wes was known for a lot of BS.

If you do not believe any of this, stop by Easley’s place on Georgia and ask him. He is a loser. Be careful what information you give him when you are going through a background check with him. There is a good chance you will be a victim of ID theft.

Wes, you know what you did, we know what you did, to bad you are still a liar. To bad you have disgraced the black man again.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, so this is what it boils down to:
"Wes, you know what you did, we know what you did, to bad you are still a liar. To bad you have disgraced the black man again." How in the hell does he "disgrace" the black man again? Disgraced because some posters who won't give their names said so? You guys are jokes and reveal more about your cult-like behavior than anything else. Wish the guy well and worry about disgracing yourselves as individuals because you certainly have on this thread.

Sam....two words for you, F(U)CK OFF!!! Again, you have no idea of what you are talking about, I used my real name, so that makes me just as CREDIBLE you. OOOOPSS, scratch that...I don't want to be associated with people like you. YOU ARE A PATHETIC PUNK!
Sorry but everybody who may hold a contrary view to yours is not Sam K. You are the same whack job that wrote similar crap slamming Tony Pearsall in a thread back in July. Here's what you said then:
"You must be talking about a different fella. The person you describe does not sound like the same fella I have known for 26 years.
The fella I know is very self-centered, selfish and very good at the art of manipulating people and community groups.
The fella I know was far from a hero and he did whatever he could to steer clear of conflict.
The fella I know could never take responsibility for poor decisions he made and routinely threw others under the bus to save himself, even if the truth needed to be stretched.
The fella I know spent the majority of his 35 years inside doing PR jobs and not in the field doing police work.
The fella I know would tell his subordinates to fudge the numbers because nobody would know the difference.
The fella that I know took credit for other peoples hard work, especially if it made him look good in the eyes of his superiors.
The fella I know rarely followed through with promises that he made to co-workers or members of the public.
The fella I know became very disgruntled when he was passed over for Captain to promote a female Captain.
The fella I know nagged the Chief for months to promote him to Captain and pressured certain Captain(s) to retire, so he could get his.
The fella I know participated in the police / fire strike in 1969 to get better pay and benefits for public safety employees who were treated as second class citizens. He also picketed for Binding Arbitration which would force the City to bargin in good faith or the issue would have to be resolved by a neutral third party.
The fella that I know solicited the police officers' association for an endorsement for Council, but, didn't want the fire fighters endorsement. He was turned down and told it was a Public Safety endorsement not one or the other.
The fella that I know had his life saved by the very people he hates, even after his "friends" tried to cancel the fire departments response.
The fella I know will never change his spots and will always allign himself with people who will do his bidding and follow him on a path of destruction.
The fella I know has disappointed 124 of his former co-workers, which at one time numbered 158 co-workers.
The fella I know, along with his friends, have destroyed one of the best organizations in the state. For the first time in 25 years, officers are actively looking for work elsewhere, and yes, the pay and benefits are either better or comparable. And, other agencies will scarf up our quality officers."

Everything Wes said in the paper is lie's. You can easily find the truth. He was let go from VPD and he was discharged from the military. He is far from a hero. He has never known when to tell the truth. All that kid does is fabricate all of his stories. If he was my son, I sure would be ashamed of him.
