Shouldn't it be Native Americans, not "indians"?

If you want to get real close to home, I'd say the Apache nation. The dog Bush and his drunken buddies stole his skull for their skull and crossbones club back in their Yale days. They are about the lowest of the low, grave robbers all, But this was done by Obama's people. Remember that come election day, he knows you'all arr dumb induns.....yup

After all Native Americans have endured due to the great Manifest Destiny, this is only a small transgression, but an insult just the same.History lessons in school, taught me to believe Apache were blood-thirsty killers. Now that I have spent time in the land of the Apache,I have come to realize what a great nation they were. Now,I cannot blame them for defending their homeland from a foreign government trying to steal their land, rights, culture, religion,a nd way of life. This all seems very familiar for some reason.Perhaps,it is just the purpose of government to do these things to all peoples eventually. It is ironic that now our nation seems to be facing this same conundrum in the twenty-first century. They say change is the natural order of things, but they also say history repeats itself.Vaya con Dios mis amigos.

If you're a member of a federally recognized tribe, then you're an American Indian.
If you're not, then you're a Native American.

There is no defense of USA govt policy against Natives, but the mindless patronizing ass-kissing of Apaches around here is a bit nauseating. The Apache were notorious for systematically torturing and killing anyone who came into "their" territory, whether gringo, Spanish, Mexican, Native... they didn't care.

And "have been here forever"??? So who exactly were the Mimbrenos and what happened to them? An uncomfortable question many don't wish to discuss...

I might be a redneck but I am not a foodstamp collecting Indian. You all need to get off that reservation and get a job, and stop making us pay for what my grand pappy did to you, that is history

Maybe you need to go back where you come from if you don't like America.

I see many more white folks living on food stamps begging for money than I do our American Indians. Don't be fooled by the old farts remarks. I'm sure he desires the intelligence and knowledge of us American Indians all together. Why else would he be lurking on the subject of us? I feel sorry every time I pass the cities across this nation and see the poverty that exist, so for this gentleman to say negative things is just down ignorant.
