at one time everyone could walk the steps of the horseshoe curve for nothing.now people have to pay.many sundays my family would take a ride up there just walk everywhere,how time changes everything.

do you like going there, how would it be if it was closed . someone has to pay for maintinance grass cutting, general upkeep. a few dollars is well worth it if its something you really enjoy.

I travel along way as often as I can to go to the curve. It doesn't bother me a bit to pay the small fee. As previously said, someone has to pay for up-keep, insurance, utilities, etc. Look how much the palce has changed for the better over the years with the new steps, the funicular, visitors center.
Anyone who lives close to this national heritage should be thankfull and not complain.
