Well dude since you answered I'll tell u wrong. Bill Clinton signed the act for the sub prime loans.
Giving people home loans that they couldn't afford. The banks thinking that the government Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would be there to back up the loans. They weren't. Thus started the collapse of Wall Street.... Even the most liberal democrat I know knew that answer right off the bat.. Z

So it's Clinton's fault the banks weren't responsible? That tells me that some government regulation is necessary.

Basically yes because it was him and his buddies that told them to do it and they would back them. Go read up on the act that he signed that his advisor told him too. Also on Obama why does his advisor have secret service protection when no other president in our history has allowed this. But he can't protect the higher ups over sea's...

If you are referring to the recent Muslim riots on our embassies we weren't the only country to suffer attacks and lose public officials. Foreign embassies don't usually have much protection against large forces of people be it civilian or soldier.
Ive seen the movie that supposedly started all that nonsense and I have to say I'm impressed such a crap movie managed to get international attention. My favorite part in the whole thing was the guy that was part of the 8 man "angry mob" used his poorly made cheap plastic battle axe to knock crap of shelves and it looked like he had trouble with it since the plastic axe kept bending.
But anywho you would be surprised the amount of bills pass through congress that none of them read. They all have an assistant of some sort that flips through them and makes note of the major points. A few years ago I think there was some 2000 page bill they were trying to pass.
I also remember watching either a show or documentary where a guy applied for a house loan saying he was a rodeo clown and made something like 120000 a year and he got a 300000 housing loan. But I guess that's the government we get when big business runs the government.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Taurus

Try hard not to let money or possessions come between you and a friend today, unless it's over something that has got to be sorted out before it goes any further. For instance, if someone owes you money and has consistently failed to pay it back, this is a good day for mentioning it to them and finding out what's going on. If necessary, you may have to be quite vehement.
