Went there to eat last night, drive 30 min to get there w/ some friends to meet some friends only to find out the doors were locked, the lady told us would be at least an hour+ before they let more people in and another hour+ to get our food. Wow really Gallipolis you can't do no better than that? I to am a restaurant business, just at the higher end, this is totally unacceptable for a new business can you imagine the first time customers impression on this place? I was told by several others it's not the first time they have done that since opening, better get it together or you will go under as quick as you opened. That beautiful new building will look just as beautiful as all the other "unoccupied buildings" there in Gallipolis!
As a owner I personally would of been out there talking to my guest as they arrived only to be disappointed about the situation, not a kid handling the MESS!! What a shame!!!!

Far from a bum! Just saying as a business owner "I personally would of been out there meeting my disgruntled customers" explaining the situation and possibly offering an complimentary appetizer - drink or something for a future visit!!!!! I know in this economy I would of been on hand to ensure the high expectations of guest THEN and in the future!!! Not just a kid at the door refusing guest service and "snickering about it" thank you! I'll definitely return at some point just stating the situation could of been handled a little different for "overall" guest satisfaction.

Xcitizen did you really expect an actually halfway decent food chain coming to gallipolis that serves alcohol wouldn't have problems with being overcrowded? Why should you get free handouts because you wouldn't wait to get in? Ever hear of fire safety? They have an occupancy limit you know. Not to mention only so many tables and chairs. Stop bitching about stuff that nobody has control of.
Also I have to say that service is slow, food is what was expected being that it wasn't amazing but it is good, it's laughable how they apparently thought three thin napkins are enough to eat 12 wings with.

If you were truly a restaurant owner, you would know how difficult the first couple of months can be,give them a chance before getting on here and trying to ruin them..You have to realize every employee there has never worked at any bw3's and a lot of them have little to no experience. Sounds like you may be a local business owner who is afraid they will take a big chunk of your business. Best of Luck to them...I will be there every chance I get..

It is probably a good thing you are an xcitizen of Gallia County because I think it is pretty immature of you(assuming you are an adult)to talk about a kid trying to make a living and make the best of a situation that was beyond his or her control. I highly doubt the kid was 'snickering' because they had to turn people away but instead was emabarrassed or overwhelmed at the entire situation. You seem to really be blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Perhaps, you dont remember being a kid and getting started. Oh, I bet being in the restaurant business you probably have a doctorate in business management lol. In this case, if you are so educated in business, especially the restaurant business, then shouldn't you have assumed that a restaurant just openin would be busy. I say you are not a bum but a crybaby looking for a reason to complain when you knew prior to driving 30 minutes that there would be a wait. Wait a minute ... maybe you are a bum also because you were asking for free handouts. With your background and so called status in business, sounds like your restaurant isn't very busy at all if you have never had to inform customers that there is going to be a wait. Your place must be booming with customers. LOL ... Sounds like the kid is doing better than you. Get a life and stay out of Gallipolis.

If your high end joint is so great then put its name on here. I could round up some Gallipolisians to give it a little cheer. We'd love to come visit ya.

Same ole Same ole I see! No one was looking for a handout by far!(remember I don't live in this welfare hole) and yes I did EXPECT a wait as I would and have prior experienced at other openings of business's. I was just stating AS A OWNER I would of been at the door meeting my guest and explaining the situation a little better..you know "get to know my customers". As going through a grand opening myself I know if it can happen it will, takes a lot of patience in this business, one thing you have to look at is possibly getting a few with a little restaurant experience vs all kids.
And yes the young lady WAS snickering, regardless of the situation it's just not good for business. I had NO problem with the wait, just the other 10-15 customers bitching did oh and wait guess what they were LOCALS!!
Before you jump start your mouth on that subject - kids are wonderful to work with and teach but not at the sacrifice of a "new business" reputation. As I ALSO mentioned I will be back to visit friends and hopefully get to dine at BWW. Until then I'm sure I'll lose no sleep. And you further more really hold a "mature discussion" where did you obtain doctorate? GBC???? AH!
