they are gonna get a job in november, obama will pay them for every time they vote for him. after they vote 6 times each, obama will raise their welfare check $20 a month, and give them free directv to go with their free wifi, free cell phones, and basically free everything.

just what it says welfare ppl get too many things free, and most get too much on food card so they have to spend some of it foolishly like at gas station or on a bunch of junk food to spend the rest of it,if not they sell what they don't use.

How do you know they get "too much" on food card?
They "have to" spend some of it foolishly?
What gas stations?
Why do you think they "have" to spend the rest of it or "sell" what they don't use?

* Look up how the amount is determined, income and household size basically. They don't have to use the amount given by the end of the month, meaning the amount left carries over to the next month.
It is not a use it or lose it situation!
* Once again, if some one is selling their food stamps, who is buying? Those not eligible that's who, making the buyer just as guilty of abusing the system!
* The system still has it's faults, but it has improved greatly over the years. People need to check into the changes and quit making fools of themselves! Families are no longer being raised on Welfare!

dude, if you don't think families are being raised on welfare, you need to open your eyes. It is more abused now than ever. They get welfare, WIC, HUDD, HEAP, SNAP,EIC, obamaphones, and they doctor hop until they can find one to label their kid is ADHD so they can get them an SSI check every month too.

First, a family Dr. doesn't disable anyone, Social Security does that, adults and children.
Welfare, meaning cash assistance is time limited now.
SNAP is food stamps for those unaware.
The rest of it a person doesn't need to walk into a welfare office to get, meaning you can be eligible for those and not anything coming out of the Welfare office.
* Some of those kids that were on SSI a couple of years ago going through school, now hold jobs and support themselves. Things the community doesn't see, school counselors working closer with at risk students and its working. These kids are making good choices despite whats going on at home.
Yes, this is changes in Welfare!

because most of those kids on SSI never had anything wrong with them in the first place, their parents just found someone to say they did so they could draw a check. It is one of the biggest scams going.
and yes, it all isn't officially "welfare", but if you have your food paid for, your house paid for, your utilities paid for, your phone paid for, what on earth should you be needing cash for anyway????? The names have changed, but the results are the same. freeloading is freeloading, no matter what the name of the "official" government program is.

I know a few families on food stamps and all admit to getting too much and not enough money on their check, one brags that they get 700.00 a mo.for a family of 4 and they sell 200-300 dollars of them a mo.

So let see..$700 in foodstamps, some unknown amount of cash assistance, free rent.. free medical, financial help for their automobile, and some extra cash for school clothes.. Now of course they need a cell phone, so they receive a slightly outdated one free of charge.
I think minimum wage is $7.70 per hour. At 40 hours a week,(which is lucky if u can get that consistently) that's only $308 before TAXES. What are these? Well, that is money that goes indirectly to support those recipients. Money that you earn, but will never, ever see. When you cash your check you will get maybe $250. Then comes all he expenses that go along with employment. These include transportation,(often a necessity at this point) wardrobe,(again.. mandatory a lot of the time) working phone,(no, this one ain't free) and some sort of personal hygiene products. You will see this money for only a brief time. Afterwards, you might clear 150 per week. But atlas, you will need a place to live and some food...

If you know someone selling food stamps turn them in and it is social security that disables people, not family doctors, probably why it takes so long to be declared disabled in most cases I think.

I have no idea what the average rental costs per month.$300? I'm sure the sky's the limit, but if you're looking to go cheap.. Let's say three hundred per month. Plus utilities. That will run ya another $200-300 or quit possibly more. Food (which is of course handy to have) be another $200-300, easily more if you're not thrifty.
Adding up the weekly checks, subtracting taxes.. deducting the necessities, and I am left with anywhere from $0-$200 per month.
I owe doctors. I owe city taxes. I owe credit companies that told me I could safely amass thousands of dollars of debt. I owe friends, family, and, the bank. My regular diet is not the healthiest, and that's putting it mildly. Lol. It's been a while since I've had a good steak. But I am proud. At least I can say I earn my lifestyle.

Seems to me like a person would be better off drawing from Uncle Sams tit. I guess I was just raised different. I earn above minimum wage. But a person just starting out nowadays sure does have a lot of temptation to choose the lazy route in life... Thank-you to my fellow workers. Just remember you are not alone! Even though sometimes we feel like we're the oddballs, because so many CHOOSE to suck from the system! Work safe my friends!
