Well who's the guy doing it. If they don't know about it, then how can they do anything?

I've wondered this myself. Can't say I know from seeing it myself (don't usually know too many in jail or the center, lol) but I've heard about the release center. People sign out in the morning, drink & do their thing all day & be back by a certain time. Sounds like a hotel more than a detention center!

they are sent up there if they have jobs, an sometimes they don't. R only supposed to b let out during their work hours and have to b back to sleep. Also r supposed to take drug tests when coming back....but yes I have seen them b VERY open to ppl leaving and gettin by with stuff!

I think the work release center is a good attempt gone wrong. I mean these people pretty much get rewarded for doing crimes. They are free to do as they please during the day, and then given dinner and a warm place to sleep at night. How is that any type of punishment?

The WRC is a joke! It is not punishment at all! I was in there. There is a dude no that goes to his moms nd his gfs house. He sucks up to the CO's He doesn't even have a legtimat job. He brags to the boys bout how easy it is to get by with shit then throws a fit when there is a lockdown. Come on Gallia County stop babying criminals!

They should close down the place. There are people there who exploit the system and learn NOTHING about punishment! One guy in there gets by with all kinds of shit and brags about it. His so called boss Ronnie Jones is nothing but a drug dealing piece of shit. Keep letting them run wild and keep letting our county be a laughing stock. It is a designated baby sitting service! You need to keep better tabs on them and DRUG test! I was in the WRC and I know what goes on there. There are more drugs in there then you know. Shut the place down!

They have been letting ppl serve a year sentence up there that's crazy!! I always thought anything over 6 mths u went to prison but guess not and they do let ppl leave without a job from what I understand it's so they can find a job but alot of ppl abuse it they are going to mess it up for everyone half the ppl in there don't deserve it
