Former small-town chief convicted of theft

A former police chief of the small Fayette County town of Gallaway has been convicted of theft and official misconduct. via WAAY-TV Huntsville

The TBI should be looking at the police in one more fayette county town-OAKLAND. Dollar bill mullins's police have killed dogs/collected insurance on dead dogs that are still alive, have had dead dogs come back alive, no arrests? If the AG needs more to go on that the certified dead dog, that is still alive, the cashed insurance check, etc to make an arrest, we in fayette county need a new ATTORNEY GENERAL!!!! How much more does this guy need to make an arrest? If Mullins's hands are so clean, why hasn't he had a full in-house investigation? Who is he protecting? Himself? Why did our Police Chief suddenly get to ill to work-just as soon as the insurance fraud in his dept became public?

9050 GEES, HOW MANY DOGS DOES THE TOWN OF OAKLAND OWN? THE DOG ISSUE IS AT THIS TIME UNDER INVESTIGATION, HAS BEEN AND WILL BE UNTIL THE WRONG DOER AND DOINGS ARE DEALT WITH. IF------THERE WAS ANY WRONG DOINGS. SPEAKING OF dollar bill mullins i wish you had just a teeny weenie bit of his kindness and honesty.

We know where our (Oaklands) dog is. The man who has our dead, now alive dog (the one dollar bill collected the death insurance on)is a cop; therefore, not arrestable by our Attorney General's standards! You sure do not make your case! We know where our dog is, we know who cashed the insurance check, we know who signed the death certificate ( to the insurance co.), really if you want to be taken seriously, these are the questions that need to be answered. The biggest one is HOW MUCH MORE INFO DO YOU NEED?(by the way I have a cap key also). Whos dog dithey kill to have a body? Was it a pet from one of our residents? How can you make such a stupid statement "if there was any wrong doings". Unless this dog came back from the dead, walked 50 miles and was adopted by a cop in another town, there was wrong doing!!!!!! Also,if this is the case we have a miracle, I would expect 100,000s of people to come to Oakland to be blessed by dollar bill, any man who can raise the dead (albeit a dog)is a man worth getting a blessing from.
Although I think it will turn out that there was no miracle, just old fashioned theft-or in your words-wrong doings.

It does appear there were wrong doings-you are right. That does not mean the mayor of the town had anything to do with it. Everyone wants to point the blame at the mayor-that is not fair at all. When the people who performed this terrible act are brought forth, we will all know who is to blame. It is terrible that someone appeared to use a poor defenseless animal. I love animals and it makes me sick as well. I will be glad as well when "whoever" done this is brought forth, and rest assured they will be.
