It is not judgemental to point out that this guy would likley be alive ahd he buckled his seatbelt and for Jennifer "Ditz" Denman to go off on a "It was his time" thing is just ignorance on her ditzy part.
Too many people in Ohio are dying in crashes they could have walked away from if they had followed the law and buckled a seatbelt. It takes less then 3 seconds to make sure you are safe and will arrive ALIVE.
Cars are designed to keep passenger safe if belts are used in conjuction with airbags and the structural steel frame. Seats are even designed to keep you safe and metal to crumple in a direction as to keep it away from passenger compartment. Engines are even designed now to break away from car. Basically it takes lots of safety items to protect you but lack of one. THE SEATBELT will KILL YOU like it did this guy.

Tyler, I'm sorry you've lost your best friend. I'm not sure how old you are but have to tell you the only thing I really understood about your post was Jarod was your best friend and he saved your life. It sounds like he was a good person and many people will miss him. Something you and other friends/family member's need to understand is this is a public forum. It is a place where people give opinions about the "topic." I think it would be better for you to find something like an obituary keepsake page for people like yourself to mourn the loss and share memories of your good friend.

You seem to be the judgemental one this time ..He was just stating a fact.seems if you a not smart enough to buckle you seat belts you should and deserve the result of your ignorance!! Hopefully something is learned by this >>

"Alcohol was considered a factor in the crash, police said."

Don't drink and drive! I'm glad the 3 year old is okay! Very sad.

R.I.P Jared. This man was loved by alot of people and will be missed greatly. As for the no seat belt thing I know plenty of cases where the seatbelt killed the person. Here is an example one of my friends was killed because the seatbelt crushed her chest. For the coldhearted people get facts before u say cruel thing i knew him very well he was a great friend. I know this is a public thing but if ur gonna be cruel get facts first. He was not one too drink and drive. And yes god did take him because it was his time god needed him so this is not against god i am a christian but god takes people when he needs them. God knew how great he was so he needed his help with a hard task because Jared was probably the only one able to do it. and as for the person that called him a knucklehead u r a knucklehead for stating that.
