‘But gun advocate Goeser said she is safer in a bar or restaurant, knowing her .38 Smith & Wesson Special is tucked into a hidden sleeve of her purse.“Do I feel like I could stop someone from hurting innocent people?” she asked.“I think so.”’
Do you really? You think that if some drunk across the room suddenly whipped out his gun and shot somebody, you’d have enough time to see it coming, take the gun out of your “hidden purse sleeve”, aim at the person across the room, and shoot him first?
I am constantly astounded by the lack of thinking ability that members of the public possess. I don’t see how this country can survive when so many of the electorate can’t think through a simple concept, much less decide how to vote on important and complex matters.
