He's not paying for anything. We (tax payers) will pay 30,000 + every year to take care of Nicky. His medical, his food, his clothes, and probably some bogus ass schooling that he will never use. Legal fee's. He will appeal for the next 50 years of his life. He is allowed I think 2 or 3 appeals in this case but the system is screwed and the state will let him appeal as much as he wants. These convicts go to court and raise false claims against officers just so they can go out on a field trip a couple times a year. To look at females amd so on. When he gets to court the judge say we will continue this in 3 months. And off he goes back on the field trip bus and looks foward to three months from now when he gets to come back out to the real world. Who pays for this. You and me. The governor wants to make cuts. Stick to appeals process rules when they are convicted and have their appeals stop giving them more appeals. Screw all the damn legal loop holes. It pays the judges pretty well but it drains the states money. So much money goes towards raising these inmates. More then normal people spend on their kids. They should lose their right when the appeals process is up. Stop the waste!

Its sad to say but Illinois needs a express lane put in on the death penalty. I feel if DNA evidence proves you were there, and a jury finds you guilty then why wait and appeal and new evidence forget it you die tomorrow. Give him a choice his last choice needle, rope, or gun and whatever he picks choose the opposite for him and be done with it. I also think they (death row) should not know when their execution is comming their victims didnt, pull them out one day for lunch or breakfast and instead hang them.
