Wow! I'm sorry that any institution ostensibly dedicated to helping people could treat their fellow man so cruelly! I guess that's why I don't think most churches deserve their tax exemptions.

Obviously, most of what is considered common sense and common decency is beyond your cognitive ability. Your comment is both rhetorical and redundant in nature. Your diatribe, lacks moral fibre and is so characteristically common among the so called gentle and misunderstood, pink triangled types.

I notice that you did not explain why a gay or lesbian person would want to be a Roman Catholic.

No apology from the RCC hierarchy will ever be sufficient for all its bigotries, petty and, as in this case, otherwise.

Oh absolutely, there is nothing wrong with being Catholic.

It is being an obedient, meek Catholic in light of those deranged, sexually sick, misogynist, authoritarian, money and power grubbing patriarchs in gold lame dresses that's the problem.

I don't know when you will learn that a direct reply to that racist, anti Semitic pedo will never lead anywhere you want to go.

They didn't give your dad the last rites beacuse you're gay?

How did that possibly come up?

I man, bad call on part of the priest-gay people get the last rites same as everyone else, but how on earth did that situation arise?

The catholic cult has been responsible for every atrocity known to man why anyone would belong to that cult is beyond me.

On a related note, on the CBC yesterday, there was a half-hour show about how the Mormons keep baptizing people who are't even Mormon after they have died!!

Anne Frank has been baptized 10 times!!!!

I've read where they also did it for Mitt Romney's father-in-law, who apparently was an avowed atheist. On a related note:

The word that Marcel Guarnizo had become ill and was unable to work was true
.
Homophobia is a debilitating mental illness that prevented Marcel Guarnizo from doing his job; po'thang
.
Perhaps; someday homophobia can be cured

It was just this particular priest at this parish (which served the only hospital in the area ... RC).

I don't know if I'll ever forgive that man.
