Unfortunately this B. Smith story ended with a murder. But it is not about an old story that is over and done with! This thread was about abuse of children.
It will happen over and over again until parents realize they have to protect their children and make them a priority over "dating". This predator had moved in the house with the mother and the 12 year old girl!
In the other story about the Short family murders, a predator after the little girl was possibly or probably behind it all. And he is stil out there.

Unfortunately this B. Smith story STARTED with a murder. AND it IS about an old story that is over and done with! This thread WAS about one story, one case, NOT about the abuse of children in general. The thread is NOT about the Short family murders, although some nitwit has attempted to hijack it and turn it into a personal crusade, filled with suppositions and theories, none of which are new.

IF you want to discuss this OLD story or other cases of interest why don't you get somebody to show you how to start a NEW discussion, on your local page, so that everybody else within a 200 mile radius of Roanoke won't have to see this OLD story pop up every time some numbskull says "what happened? I didn't hear about this" Please.
