I wonder if any of the Gainesville Police Dept. were in attindence. The same police dept that allowed a baby to die in the streets like a dog, because it was easier than doing their job. The same police dept that allowed a convicted child abuser to decide where his victim was to be sent upon his arrest on drugs and weapon charges, because it was easier than doing their job. The same police dept that never knew that child was badly burned over his body, because it was easier than doing their job. Or was it just the mayor, councilmembers and city manager, the ones that oversee the police dept and did nothing about the police dept but hope everyone forgets about all this uglyness. Because it was easier than doing their jobs.

Amen to that! my son had the holy crap beat out of him by some of Gisd finest students and we can't get police to do their job and bring charges against them.
