Two weeks ago as I was driving by the Kingdom hall on the Gainsboro grade I noticed that several cargo containers (appeared to be from ships) we stacked around the building. The next day when I came through around them same time there was several tracktor trailers sitting on the lawn as well. Last night I drove by and there had been trailers erected on the site an also many camping trailers set up. This afternoon I passed and they had a sign up by the road that said "DO NOT STOP". I felt a sudden chill then because it hit me. THey have called in the troops at long last. I feel that they are getting ready to utililze their lazers to cause permanent damage to our infastructure and throw our communities into chaos. They will then send in the troops to take advantage of us in our weakened states and convert those who are severily disoriented by they lazer attacks and those who are disenchanted with the lack of handling this problme by our current public and religious officlas. We better wake up soon or we will all be going around with blank stares with Watchtowers in hand come this time next week.

Who knew this was going on! Here I was thinking we were all safe and the Laser threat was over and all along they were planning a massive assault! I bet they will hit us over the Labor Day weekend while we are incapacitated from eating barbecue and grilled hamburgers and such, not to mention the alcohol consumption. They are Evil Geniuses!!!

Ok... is this a joke? Its been 5 years since this post and I just saw it. I am not from this congo but I am a witness and Im guessing you are still here right? he he he. Ya know, so many people have so many misconceptions when it come to the witnesses. I did as well until they were the only religion to show me the truth and thats why I become one of them. Im guessing that congo was rennovating or something when you wrote your post. My suggestion... if you even read this... go to that kingdom hall and on a sunday, probably at 10 am, and listen to the bible discourse given. Then you'll see that we are not the strange people that so many make us out to be. Its the truth from the bible that makes us different from the worlds religions. Talk with a local witness and let them prove to you that the witnesses have the truth. Or you can respond to me directly and you and I can talk. Thanks and I wish you success in finding the truth

Rick the chief used to be a Jehovah witness. He dropped out a long time ago. I think it'd be nice to visit him with the good word. He needs it with so much stress in his life. A little of the good word can go a long way god bless his soul.

I was not taking this seriously until you mentioned lazers! If they have lazers we are all in serious trouble! It is well known that they will only spare 144,000 people, all the rest must die. I usually sleep in and will not have a good place in line. Therefore if no one saves me a place I'm in trouble. Laser trouble!

The Bible teaches that 144,000 will go to Heaven to rule with Jesus, but the rest of the people not given a Heavenly hope have not been forgotten by the true God Jehovah. Anyone who exercises faith in Jesus ransom sacrifice and lives their life in accordance with Jehovahs standards has the prospect of living forever on the earth in it's original paradise conditions. It would make no sense for Jehovah to have spent his time creating the earth if there would be no one left to live on it. If you truly have questions please visit JW.Org or one of the kingdom halls either here in Gainesboro or Cookeville. You can find the answers to many questions about Jehovahs Witnesses on our site. We do not use lazer pointers or any form of weaponry on anyone. Being one of Jehovahs Witnesses is totally voluntary and can bring you happiness and peace forever.

Where in the bible does it say what number of people are going to heaven? Religion does not bring you happiness or peace...religion was made by man not God...if you want a real relationship with God only you yourself with God can make that happen. All religions teach you what they want you to know not the "truth". Half truths to make you believe what the "religion" believes. Where is the holy spirit in your religion? Do I believe everyone that believes in a certain religion are going to hell no I do not but I do believe the word of God is miss interpreted by religion and I do not believe you have to go to church to go to heaven actually I would bet 90% percent of those people will be will not make it to heaven because they believe God had limitations to a religion...My advise would be to get in God's word and pray...he will show you the right way not some religion....

At Revelation 14 : 3 in the Bible it says : and they are singing a new song before the throne and no one was able to master it except the 144,000 who have been bought from the earth. They were bought through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to rule with him in Heaven. Also in Revelation 7:9 teaches that a great crowd unable to be numbered that was taken out of all nations, tribes, and peoples stood before the throne of Jehovah, and then Revelation 7: 14 says they are the ones who made it though the great tribulation or Armeggedon. Yes it is true that you alone can make a relationship with God, he does instruct us how to do it through his holy word, the Bible. The bible itself says there would be only 1 true religion. Most religions do not even encourage people to use their Bible , as Jehovahs' Witnesses we use our Bible daily to find the true answers to understand what Jehovah requires of us. There is no Hell that unfaithful go to. Everyone will face God in judgement for the choices we make. Those who refuse to listen to Gods' commands will have to pay for their sins and the Bible teaches that the wages for sin is death. People of all religions and faiths are being given an opportunity to chose to listen to our creators words. I would also say we pray daily. if you still have questions please check out JW.Org or contact the local Kingdom hall . all the answers can be found in your Bible, and we encourage people to read it as well

Ecclesiastes 9 :5 says the dead know nothing at all , if there was hell that people went to pay for sins, wouldn't it make sense that d would want the to know why they were there. what purpose would hell then serve if the Bible says the dead know nothing? As for the great crowd those are the ones who will live on earth forever.

The Bible also teaches what the signs of the true religion would be

▪ True worshippers respect the Bible as Godís Word. They strive to live by its principles. So true religion differs from religion that is based on menís ideas.(Matthew 15:7-9) True worshippers do not preach one thing and practice another.óRead John 17:17; 2†Timothy 3:16,†17.
▪ Jesusí true followers honor Godís name, Jehovah. Jesus honored Godís name by making it known. He helped people to know God and taught them to pray that Godís name be sanctified.(Matthew 6:9) Where you live, which religion makes Godís name known?óRead John 17:26; Romans 10:13,†14.
▪ True Christians preach about Godís Kingdom. God sent Jesus to preach the good news of the Kingdom. Godís Kingdom is the only hope for mankind. Jesus continued speaking about it until his dying day.(Luke 4:43; 8:1; 23:42,†43) He said that his followers would preach about it. If someone approaches you to speak about Godís Kingdom, to which religion does he likely belong?óRead Matthew 24:14.
▪ Jesusí followers are no part of this wicked world. You can recognize them by the way they take no part in politics or social conflicts.(John 17:16; 18:36) Also, they do not imitate the worldís harmful practices and attitudes.óRead James 4:4.
▪ True Christians have outstanding love for one another. From Godís Word, they learn to respect all ethnic groups. Although false religions have often strongly supported the wars of the nations, true worshippers refuse to do so.(Micah 4:1-3) Rather, true Christians unselfishly use their time and resources to help and encourage others.óRead John 13:34, 35; 1†John 4:20.
there is only 1 religion who does all of these things and yes I do believe that we as Jehovahs' people do have the only true religion out there.

as to the comment about needing to go to church that also can be found in the Bible at Hebrews 10:25 where it says not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together.

Gathering ourselves....Where two or more people gather in his name is church...I can have church in my living room...TRUE worshippers live by the bible as God intended it, not as religion interprets it....Jehovah's witness, church of Christ, Baptist, Pentecostal,etc...All interpret the bible how they want to to go along with their beliefs...They leave parts out and add others....They take one scripture and twist it until it says what they want...you can't take one scripture and say it means one thing when you have 15 scripture after it explaining what it means....you can't take one scripture and ignore another because it's not to your religious beliefs....as for one religion that does all the things that God ask from us there is not one! Do Jehovah's witnesses believe in the holy spirit? You can study God's word for an eternity and still never get the fullness of it....this world has corrupted God's word and turned it into their different religions...a religion created by man and man's beliefs or disbeliefs....a true Christian does not judge people...how many people do you know that does not judge some one on their looks, upbringing, past decisions or beliefs? I don't know one person that doesn't judge others. There is certainly no religion that is Christ like....also where does it say Christians will live on earth for eternity?

As far as the dead knowing nothing...to me that says the dead in Christ ...the people that do not believe in Jesus Christ the son of God or ignore God's word....the ones that think their way is right and God's is wrong, the ones that think they know but do not and do not hear God they listen to their religion and the people who say they are of God but are not....just one example of how one scripture can be interpreted numerous ways....when I go to church or talk to someone about their religion...it's sad how many people think because they were baptized or saved that means they are going to heaven....I can ask for forgiveness every day but if I continue to do the same sins do you think I'm going to heaven....do you think that if your religion is wrong in their beliefs and you don't look to God for the right answers that you are going to heaven? It's like the blind leading the blind....just say your religion is way off and you go out and preach to all these people...you convert all these people to Jehovah's witness and all those people go to hell because you preached to them a religion that is not correct....when someone preaches to me I want to see it in the bible as God had it written not as religion says...

Where does it say Christians will live on earth for eternity? Psalm 37:29 and Matthew 5:5

Who is Jesus to you? Jesus is God's anointed King.

Do Jehovah's witnesses believe in the holy spirit? Of course! It is what God sends to guide their lives.
