This is to the place in Gainesboro that sells ice cream.. I won't mention any names, but the initials are D.Q.

In regards to the outdoor menu board stating a lower price for an item, and the cashier at the window tells me a higher price... I had every right to question your math skills, and you apparently told your supervisor that I disputed your price, whereas you came back and told me that the price you asked for is right...

It wasn't until the manager actually went outside and checked the board, only to find out YOU WERE OVERCHARGING!! I got my money back, but I did NOT get an apology. Your business ethics suck. You lost several customers today.

This has nothing to do with how much someone is being paid.

It has everything to do what one is taught, and what is the right thing to do. Manners and ethics.

Suppose you saw a worker from same establishment swat flies with a flyswatter in food prep area, and your sandwich was on the line, with no attempt to sanitize the area, will you speak up then?

These low paid workers as you called them, made the choice to work where they are working. I would think good manners and good business sense will keep good customers coming back.

You responded in such a way as to condone being overcharged. How is that right?

yes old women d,q, is going down the drain got no mangament that care,s, get food to go half of it is not in your order when you get home ; half the time to order they just ran out custmer befor you.got the last of it beter luck next time, the owner del is off sick, but this don.t happen when he is there, these people working there should pay attention to there jobs, not to much work out there this day,time. get a grip d, q, mgt.

Apparently, you just can't seem to accept the fact that sometimes someone can make an honest mistake. So someone, probably a child who is still in high school, pushed a button on a cash register that charged you a few cents more than what was posted on a menu board and you throw a fit about it. But I guarantee you that you would not say a damn work if something happened and you actually paid LESS than the advertised price. OF COURSE YOU WOULDN'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE WHILE THAT WOULD BE A MISTAKE, IT WOULD BE A MISTAKE THAT ACTUALLY BENEFIT YOU!!

While yes good manners are a good way of keeping "good customers" returing, I would much rather go into a place that gives these kids a job and helps give them an opportunity to work than to go into a place where a hateful, angry old woman or man are working and constantly being rude to everyone, just because they are old.

Really you backwoods half-wits? So I can just over charge you and its ok? Well slap my azz I'm opening a store in Gainesboro and just charge what ever I want for what ever. Really congrats angry old woman I would of done the same thing. And all you DQ lovers know she was in the right. After all I know if walmart over-charged you for your spark plugs and tampons you would be up in arms too. Apology should of been given and any up standing business would of but than again we are talking DQ and in the same sentence Gainesboro do you expect anything less?? A small town going down hill and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
