Why are there so many Republicans in Jackson County?

I'm not looking for an argument, I'm just interested to know why anyone whose income is less than $250,000 per year would vote Republican?

My guess is that the vast majority of families in this county make less than $250,000 per year. So why do we have so many low income folks supporting the Republicans?

What has any politician done for you? They get richer and lead you back to the pen for scraps. What has any tax and spend democrat done for you? They tax your ss, Clinton Gore, with Gore casting the deciding vote, LBJ moved all the fund from the ss trust fund to the general fund, now its broke. So pray tell me what has any politician done for you.

So are you content knowing that come Jan 1st, your paycheck will be less than it is now? Is it wrong that President Obama is trying to prevent a tax hike for those of us making less than $250,000? Do you think it's fair that wealthy Americans pay less than 14% of their income in taxes as opposed to someone like me paying over 20% in taxes and I'm only making $50,000 a year. I think every American should have to pay the same percentage.
Why is it relevant to know what any politician has ever done for me? My question was and still
is, why do so many low income people support Republicans?

Your disrespect for God is shameful.

Fact, President Obama is trying to prevent YOUR taxes from going up in a couple days. Unless of course you are one of the few making over $250,000. Now, prove otherwise. How is Obama trying to tax YOU into your grave if he is trying to prevent a tax hike.

Well since Obummer has been in office, why are the problems getting worse? The Republicans only control the house, why have the dems not passed a budget for FOUR years in the senate as required by law? Why are we spending 3.7 trillion dollars each year? This group of inept politicians have run up more debt than all the other presidents in history. Obummer will enact the biggest tax increase in history with his obummer health care plan. It is not about taxes, it is about spending.

2 things: 1-Obama is a fraud. He is out to ruin this nation. Only reason he won again is because is all the intercity Wellfare bums and crack whores who wanted to remain receiving free money voted him in. Your vote didn't even contribute. 2-I can not understand how any intelligent human could believe there is actually a God. Have you never read the Bible? It's a book of lies and myths. A fairytale. If there was a God, do you think he would actually let a psycho walk into a school and murder 20 innocent children? Idiots.

1. I doubt that you have read the Bible, so how you could possibly say it's full of lies is beyond me. You should do some studying and research before you run your mouth.
2. A lot of terrible things happen in this world, obviously there is a devil and evil in the world. We as humans are not able to comprehend and understand God's reasoning for everything bad that happens. I suggest you read the book of Job. Job was favored in God's eyes and the devil did terrible things Job trying to turning Job against God. But The devil was unsuccessful, Job stayed faithful to God and in return God gave Job everything back.
3. It sounds like you are looking for any excuse you can find to live a sinful life and go around
doing whatever you want without any accountability.
4. Crack whores and welfare bums don't vote. Really? Are you really even going to go there?
5. It's funny to me that you blame Obama for all these problems when it all started back when Bush enabled the Bush tax cuts for the super wealthy. Now that those tax cuts are about to expire, we've got a chance to climb out of this hole.
6. Obama care is going to put an end to all this welfare fraud, duplicate prescription fraud, and doctor shopping. It sounds like you haven't read up on that program either. Why don't you try reading and watching something other than Fox news. You might learn something.

This is off the subject, but how do you explain all the factual science in the Bible? Science that nobody had discovered until years later.
For example, God told them not to circumcise babies until the 8th day, we now know that it's not until the 8th day of a male's life that his body produces prothombin, a blood clotting chemical in the body. Had God not given that command, male babies would have bled to death.
Remember what we were taught in school about Columbus discovering the Earth was round not flat. Well God tells us the Old Testament the Earth is a circumference suspended in the air.
The Bible also talks about creatures with tails the size of cedar trees.
Do you think these are lies and fables????

Wow, I just can't get over your stupidity. I just keep thinking about all your ignorant statements.
Did you know that the majority of democrats have a college education or higher. Whereas the Republican party is supported mainly by people with little education.
YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU RUN YOUR MOUTH!

Noah's ark, come on 2 of every animal. How did he get the ones in Americas if no one even knew it existed. Or Australia. Bible says earth is center of the universe. I believe the Sun is. Bible indicates world is around 5000 years old. Science has proven thats off a few billion years. And how many people have you known to live for 200or 300 years as in the Bible? I can go on and on. As for living in sin, you probably are far more worse than me. I dont drink or smoke or cheat or steal or lie. I work every day and never talk about anyone.

What was it you said about Pres. Obama, "he's out to ruin the country." It sounds to me like you most certainly do talk about people.
Like I said, some people are just looking for any reason to live their lives with no accountability.
My initial question is why do low income people vote Republican. I know that there is a great deal of poverty in this county so I was wondering why there are so many republicans in the county.
Nobody has yet to answer that.
If you truly want an answer about God, I suggest you go speak to a preacher. Hey, what's the harm in doing more research? Besides the church needs more non drinkers, non smokers, non cheaters, and non liars such as yourself. Any church would be happy to have a person such as yourself.

It may be that they are not Republicans persay, they may vote as I do. Not by party but voting for whom you think has the ability to succeed at that position. Obama had already proven in the past 4 years to fail miserably so I voted for Romney. Think as government as a business, which in all reality it is, would you want someone that has succeeded in every business endevor he had entered or a man that has never had a real job. Community Organizer was Obama's official title.

Do you thinks it's fair that wealthiest Americans only pay 14% in taxes whereas I have to pay more than 20% in taxes. Shouldn't all Americans have to pay the same percentage in taxes?

It's been proven that if every adult American paid 17% straight across the board that there would be surplus of tax dollars to go towards the deficit.

So what is your problem with the Dems right now? Republicans are in favor of keeping the Bush tax cuts.
My 2 cents

Boehner's proposal is to increase taxes for those making over 1million/year. Thats less than 10% of Americans. I agree with truthforsure, all Americans should pay equal across the board. But, that's not what Republicans are fighting for. They are still trying to get tax cuts for the wealthy and keep blue collar working men to pay higher percentage of their wages in taxes.
