Abandoned houses frustrate Benson leaders

Town commissioners want to tear down three abandoned houses in the 100 block of East Harnett Street.

Yes you a right. I was in Benson for mouth of July 2009. Community delopement is needed on West Harnett St. I'm 69 yrs old these houses were there when I was 10 yrs old.It's regular thro- afare.
Ps : You are catering to drugs & voilent by letting these shacks remain. Plus the Church, St. James near bye would support the efforts.
