parents who raise children have a right to home school, but must follow rules set by school administers.

Im personally infuriated at the fact that they the school reacted that way to the parents- if I were the parents I would sue for emotional distress. The school is just pi$$ed that they couldnt collect from the state the money for 4 more kids. I feel like the 'appearance ticket' was a way to see how they could embezzle money from the parents via 'fine' for this so called allegation of child abuse. SHAME ON ANY SCHOOL THAT BEHAVES THIS WAY! did u know that public school is new? its was invented in the 40's. before that kids were literate, they were tought at home. Public schools were made when both parents became able to be employed, and the parents often times gave up their want to educate their children themselves to better the homes finances, little did they know how schools would become so toxic and polluted.. and the social norm to donate your children to the state for at least 9 hours a day. I home school and it costs me $99 every 2 years for top name/brand educational materials, rainbow resources .org is a phenominal site to get the tools you will need- TAKE YOU KIDS BACK PARENTS!!!

Dear eff that,

I truly hope that you teach your children better grammar, punctuation and spelling than you have used here. Tolerance would be a useful tool also.

Home school is wonderful for me and many families that I know, but it is not for everyone. Just as you would not like anyone putting you down for keeping your kids at home, so would others for sending theirs to public school.

The family in this situation has no reason to sue anyone because THEY are the ones who broke the law.

As I said before: You don't have to like the law, you just have to follow it. By not following the law, this family made themselves look like they were trying to hide something, or like they just had no regard for the law at all.

Reading this post make my ears hurt.
Perfect reason not to home school. Think about it. Do you really want your kids to have "eff that"'s grammer and English skills?

My 4 year old has better grammar ( with an A not an E ) than "eff that". Looks like spell check isn't working for several of you. LOL or more likely just the one of you who is posting under different names. If you don't have anything useful to contribute you should just put your head down on your desk and go back to sleep.

Now, now...come on...not having a firm grasp on proper grammar and sentence structure shouldn't be used against people. I mean if it was, you "Real Americans" would never me to represent you.

I really object to this statement;

If I lived by that rule...I would spend my whole life sleeping.

look at that charter school bus driver left without checking all seats, boy left on bus. good thing this boy wasn`t my son. the case would have been settled out of court.
