Our tax bill(s) are almost $3,000 less than what we were paying up there. Our summer time electric bill for central air conditioning ran about $130, now it is $63.00 You know the best part - we don't have to worry about snow blowing our driveway and last year we had approximately 8 inches of total snow fall - yes 8 inches!!

One of the top 6 states financially in America. With honest politicians! Life is simpler,taxes nothing compared to NY where we paid 2 times the amount in taxes for our Condo then what we pay for 2 homes here.. Warwick was raising taxes 6% when we moved..and we also were paying taxes to the NJ Transit quarterly because we owned a business.Taxes,taxes!! Go figure a $300,000... 5 Bdrm home with an acre of land.. worth $900,000 in Warwick Indiana tax rate of $2500 a year!! The Midwest where Guns and Religion are the best place to live..where neighbors will help each other in time of need..not a bad place to live when you look at all the disasters in American cities. Indianapolis,Cincinnati,Columb us,nearby cities,IU, Purdue,Notre Dame. Ski slopes,Lakes,and Apple Orchards,Casino's,Indy 500,with in a short drive.. Beautiful countryside,better cleaner water,less traffic..slower pace and less stressful.. The money we save..we can retire early,make this our home base,work less and travel more..
