yes it was zickefoose. because he can't be a preacher and a cop at the same time. he don't know how to do it. he hides behind church doors. he goes up on the pulpit and talks about what happens at work & in the court room when that is suppose to be confidential. he just don't know how to do both. also he didn't want to give someone a baby shower there who is an unwed mother but a member there, and also his wife's cousin. he talked bad about her

Danny is the biggest hyprocite in a 150 mile radious. That whole family is nuts.He is nothing but a wannabe human being who needs help. Everyone I know has always seen right through him. I still cant believe he is still trying to preach and better yet a fat lazy, lying cop.

There was a time when I called Danny a good friend, but I learned the hard way that he's a backstabber. He abuses His position as a deputy as well as a pastor to destroy people if it suits his purpose. If it's true that Riceville got rid of Him then Good for them, Maybe now they can move forward to be a great church again.

Yes he is. The way a few members went about it was horrible. They voted on it in a business meeting without letting the congregation know. Most members didn't even know what was going on until the church no longer had a preacher. New by laws have been set to prevent this type of thing from ever happening again.

The congregation new all about it. He ran off members that were lifetime members. It was long overdue and wasn't done in a horrible way. He was voted out by majority vote. That's the way it's done in a baptist church. When he took over there as pastor they had 50 to 60 people at services, now only about 15. He was destroying the church!!!

You are absolutely incorrect!! It was not announced at all!!!! In fact only 2 of the Deacons were aware if what was being planned!! In which they were both part of the deception that took place! there were only 13 members at the meeting that night and only 12 were allowed to vote!! It was NEVER announced at any service as to what was being planned!! The only way majority could rule was had ALL the members been aware if what was being voted on!! BTW its bot just the baptist church where majority rules!!! There were ALWAYS 30-45 at the services. The real reason you were losing members is because there arent many younger couples in that church! Wonder why!! The only 15 people attending is what happened after this took place. In fact how many kids are attending there now or are in Sunday school now??
If you want to put everything out in the open lets also discuss why the "Women's Prayer Group" is trying to run the church???? In fact lets also get to the bottom of why they are gossiping at the church during there so called meetings as well ganging up on another member over the bulletins??? Last time I checked that's not Christian behavior!!!
Or better yet lets also discuss why people have been feeling they need to address the congregation about behaviors going on in that church it why people are resigning from positions they held.
Sounds like you are part of Dannys family. He got what he deserved!!!

Right way, wrong way--I just thank God he is gone and can no longer harm the church I loved so much. I agree X-resident, I have known Him 25 years and he was a horribly dishonest cop, and a pitiful example of christianity. I just urge all of you to understand that He is not the example of nor does he speak for true Christianity--Do not let Him turn you away from Christ.

I'm not a member of this church but I do read the Bible... I was just reading my Bible and I came across Galatians 6: 1-10

Doing Good to All

6 Brothers, if someone is caught in sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also my be tempted. Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each should carry his own load. Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the spirit will reap eternal life :) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at a proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to family of believers ;)

Humans aren't perfect. Everyone is gone sin as long as where in flesh. I'll pray for this church and do the same for me. I truly believe God. I don't know if this is a pentecost church or not so I'll say Jehovah. He's real. I just thought I'll share this with this topic. Have a bless day :)

No I'm not part of his family. I am a church member who is appalled with everything that is taking place in this church! It just got under my skin when someone posted untrue facts about what is happening. It sickens me that the house of the Lord is being used this way! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as to if they like an individual or not. I don't have an issue with that. To each their own.
However when there is as much unchristian behavior going on as what there is then it shouldn't be swept under the carpet. Everyone is guilty of sin. Danny is gone from the church but the drama remains.

I do not know how they have handled things in recent years, But I assure you that They tried to restore Him in a Christian manner. The leadership of the church talked to Him on many many occasions and begged Him to quit using the pulpit as a second courthouse, They tried to get Him to put more effort into being a pastor and quit using both His positions to ruin and destroy people. He would not listen. I do know that was a fact I WAS THERE. My disallusionment was actually with the church in letting this go on way to long, before they woke up. I stand behind my previous statement "Thank God He's Gone"

With you "being there" then you must also be aware of all the other unsuitable behavior going on as well.
Can't help but notice there has been no mention of how some of the ones who voted to have him leave argued with the secretary about not wanting there names recorded in the minutes of how they voted to have him removed. Or how some of those who voted for him to leave have preciously been asked to leave 3 other baptist churches for this same type of behavior (one of which was this very church 30 years ago and no one realized it). Perhaps it should be brought up that a couple if years ago Danny arrested one of the Deacons (the one who leaded this) sons for drugs and how there have been hard feelings since, due to there belief that he should be let go and preached to instead. Or how there are rumors of members threatening other members with a civil suite over all this. My list could continue to go on. You see I am also there and stand by my choice to tell the entire story and not just part of it. Fair is fair don't you think???

If you are the christian you say you are, you need to stop running down the church and spreading gossip. Sounds like you are a member there and may be part of the problem. Why don't you talk to members about your issues instead of airing it out on this website.

In no way have I ran down the church nor would I! I have simple stated facts about what is going on in this church with a select few of the members and not gossip! No one seemed to have an issue with running down the preacher!! When it comes to telling the entire story that's where the issue lies?? The only point I am making is that no ones sins are greater than anyone else's!! No one has the right to judge another ones actions. Fair is fair!!
Why should it be ok to only down Danny?? When there was much more that went on leading up to his dismissal. Nothing I would have never stated any of this IF the entire story was told!
