The waitress are not nice, the wait for beverages is too long, the wait on food is too long. quality of food is so so, food was cold, and the food is too pricey for our area!!!!! And the owners did have everything handed to them on a silver platter. I know everyone of them!!!!!

Who cares if the owners had everything handed to them on a silver platter or not? I don't know any of them and I really don't care what their circumstances are. All I am interested in is going to a restaurant and having a good meal served by a friendly wait staff. I've been to the Keg three times since they re-opened and overall, I have been pleased. I understand any new restaurant is going to have a learning curve and they won't be Perfect from the start. However, the small negatives that occurred were outweighed by positives, so I intend to go back.

If management is reading - this is meant as constructive criticism - 1) waited a bit too long to receive food on one visit. 2) garlic mashed potatoes arrived a little on the cool side but the rest of the food was delicious. 3) error on the check - right item but wrong price - but it was easily corrected.

Looking forward to my next visit. Have yet to try the 2 inch Pork Chop!

You know the keg was not that good of a place to eat. Are you one of the owners?

Nope, just a person who lives further south in TN looking for some decent restaurants. Missing the food options available in other places I've lived and happy to see new options coming to this area. Willing to give them multiple chances to fix problems instead of condemning them when an experience isn't perfect.

People around here don't have many options and I can see why - anyone who attempts to do something good gets condemned - by all the people who complain there is no place to go or no good restaurants. Can't please everyone all the time but some people just can't be pleased period.

I know one owner who hasn't had everything handed to him! He milked cows at 4:00am each morning. What about that?

I went there it was awful.. the waitresses were mean and I had the fat one! and my food was cold! Not impressed I'm sorry but Fulton will not be back up on it's feet again and booming. It's the keg! It will always be know as a bar or place to hang out with low people. People like to go to places like Nashville and Memphis where stuff actually happens. I love Nashville myself used to live there then moved to Troy but all in all The keg will not be a 5 star place

Well...If he did and this is true...I am sure he is the only one out of the seven that didn't have "everything" handed to him...

We went there to eat the first time last Thursday night. I was not overly impressed. No wait time to be seated. Waitress was very friendly. Food was, well, not really good. Costs $70 for three of us to eat, and we didn't even have drinks. We had one appetizer, steaks with salad and baked potato, two teas, and a diet soda. If we would have had dessert it would have been $90. A little pricey I think, for not so good food.
Holy shit! That's close to a weeks wages!
