I remember Renee from years ago back in school I was on the sport teams with her. I ran track and she did also. Somehow I knew back then I needed to pray for her, and throughout my out of school years I kept her in mind of all my classmates, and to my surprise one day this pass summe. I see her in my church standing in front of everyone giving her testimony how God has changed her life using this illness. I amazed and sad because she struggling with sickness, and amazed how God brought her to him through her sickness. I was not the prayer I wanted answered but it was the prayer that she would know him one day as her Savior. John 3:16-17 Romans 10:8-15.
I admired Renee for being a gutsey girl not afraid to do things. This proof to me she was not afraid of dying because she knew the truth how to live and survive. I know since she knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior I will see her again in heaven with the Lord one day when I go home.
I was surprised how God answered my prayer and brought her to church, and yet I was surprised of all churchs she end up at Calvary church here on Kendra Road in Fruitport, with the best loving and compasionate Pastors in Michigan, in my church. God blessed her last days here with us, and though we will miss her now we have hope for those who know the Lord as their Savior will see this dear sister again. God is in controll, and sometimes we don't like how he answers our prayers but yet their is no point to question him this is how he wanted to be and she gave up herself to follow him. It was her time to go home. She left her testimony as Calvary Chrurch on Kendra road for you to listen to, because she knew how you would need Jesus Christ just like she knew she needed him to.
And just like I need him.
I was fortunate to have known Renee durring my teenage years. I am glad that she was one classmate among some who were kept in my prayers.
